Hi All! Report from the Rally: Glenn Beck said from the stage that we had 25,000 people in Centennial Olympic Park for the Rally! It was incredible! The signs were fantastic - lots of anti-French signs: "First Iraq, then France", "Screw Jacques Chiraq" and others! I have tons of pics to post if I can figure out how to get them up! GOOD JOB GEORGIA!

Hey... I'm in the second pic of us meeting at the corner. Other than that one, I shy away from cameras. ;-)

I hope Patti recovers soon. We had some good FReeping time together after the election. I'll never forget that last Saturday when we heard that the SCOTUS overturned the FL Supremes as we were leaving the 11th Court of Appeals. That was one of life's sweetest moments.

They were on the train right in front of me. One of them feeds our pets sometimes when we're gone. Another is a guy I had a long political talk with last year, during my bike ride around the neighborhood during the annual multi-family yard sale. I think I was the reason they had been on FreeRepublic, from that talk. He's going to Georgetown, and another to Tech, this Fall. Didn't catch where the others were going, but that was a sharp, college-bound crew. Guys and gals like that give you hope for the country.

Oh my - I'll NEVER forget that day, or the times we had during that entire fiasco! Of course, going to D.C. also ROCKED! That was so fun!!! Looking forward to doing that again in 2004/5!!!

Even tho we live in NJ we get the Post delivered every day. Sometimes they make me mad, but generally it's a lot more bearable than any other paper.

I remember this protest. We wound up FReeping CNN Headquarters that day.

I was there but didn't take any pictures. It was my first protest, found out about it from LoudCitizen.com (a link I found at Newsmax...didn't know about Freerepublic yet). My husband called Fox5 local news and asked them why they didn't get down there and they said there was other news in the city to be covered. That evening we watched Fox5 to see what important event they covered in the city that day... it was the after Thanksgiving Day Sale at the mall!

Not true. I just watched in on a broadband connection. It came through real well. Great video.
