B1's drop JDAMS in southern no fly zone. Obviously things are heating up.

Iraq is +3 Hours from GMT (Zulu Time). New York is -5 Hours from GMT. IOW, when it is 4:00PM in NYC, it is Midnight in Iraq and 9:00 PM in dear old London. These are NOT DST numbers.
Don't forget the date change. going east and getting to midnight means it is tomorrow there.
Further, CST is -6 from GMT, MST is -7 and PST is -8. Arizona stays -7 all year with the exception of the Navajo Reservation.
Hawaii is pleasant no matter what time it is, and in Alaska you can tell by asking your neighbor. He doesn't have anything to do but monitor WWV anyway.
If you want a super neat program that provides a plethora of info regarding Moon Phase, sun location, sunrise/set, etc, do a Google search on GeoClock. It is shareware and is very informative.
BTW, I would suggest EVERYONE purchase a good short wave radio (good battery operated run $100-250) and spend some time learning where to find various foreign news services and Time signals.
Warning - Short wave listening will cut into your freeping time unless your brain can multi-task. In my experience, Conservatives can M-T BUT, Liberals can rarely even Task~!
Trick question. If you live in Los Angeles and drill through the earth directly through the center of the earth, where will the drill emerge?
Second trick. If you point straight east from LA to go around the earth to come back to LA, the path will go through South Africa!!!

Regarding the inspectors, I heard that the one killed in the head-on truck accident yesyerday was coming back, post haste, from an Iraqi 'tomato canning' plant. The one who survived and the vehicle in which they rode have been sequestered by the Iraqis and now 50 more inspectors are leaving. Kinda makes me wonder what those two found and wanted to 'by mouth' report, before they 'met' that big truck head-on?
