I said I wan't familiar with many of their songs. (Leaving some songs I am familiar with.) The ones I have heard turned me off to them as a group because I thought they were male bashing. I have heard their cover of Landslide, and I thought it was pathetic ( bad, not good, did not want to hear more). I am not sorry to see them go...

Let them know the dixie chicks should be sent to France.
Ask them to stop playing their music.
I did. Hope you will join me.

Good bump! here for economically 'taking down' the Dixie Sluts.
For Good.
And as a lesson to other smartass actors and performers who bad mouth the United States publicly while overseas.

What's the name of the short, fat, moron in the middle. Look like she needs to be back at school in the 9th grade.

Hey Natalie, come back home and repeat your comment in front of a crowd in say, Dallas or maybe Houston.
I guess the Dixie Chix have just become too sophisticated for the country music fans who have made them all rich. Hope their next performance is in a Karaoke bar in Lubbock, not that I would really wish that on the Karaoke fans in Lubbock

Can they replace members like Menudo? I think they have a weight limit.
She's gone.

They are coming back, to tour. Perhaps we should keep track and show up where they play with our feelings.

Like PJComix said - listen to Patsy Cline. That girl could croooooooon a ballad.
And as for snotty little Miss Natalie: I'd like to see her say the same thing in a roadside bar in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She'd be diving behind the chicken wire for sure.

At a concert in London earlier this week, Natalie Maines, the band's lead singer said, " Just so you know, we're ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas."Pretty brave of Natalie to make that statement in a foreign land. I wonder if she would do the same in Dallas or Nashville?
I heard Laura Ingraham say yesterday that Natalie had made this statement after the tickets for their U.S. tour had sold out. I'd guess it was time for a refund. Maybe they could book a tour in France.

It was all SEX and a GIMMICKY NAMEYep. Saw that from day one. The music itself was unremarkable; it will not endure.

Yes, "Goodbye Earl" was satirically homicidal. But surely, you do not equate with revenge on a serial wife beater as man-bashing.BZZZZTTT!
Let's hear Earl's side of the story, huh?

It would be justice for them to play in an empty auditorium. (insert cricket sounds here)

It is the squeeky wheel that gets the oil.
How do you think the civil rights movement affected change in this country?
This is a conservative movement. Welcome to the changing of the gaurd. You are welcome to jump on the bandwagon... however, even if you don't we are going in without you.
To: prairiebreeze
Yes indeedy! Patsy was a true icon. Beautiful voice.Patsy would have never badmouthed and undermined the Commander-in-Chief--especially on unfriendly foreign soil on the eve of a battle in which American soliders were about to place thier lives on the line.
