FoxNews Alert just reported that Iraqi troops have left Baghdad with heavy artillary and are heading south to the Kuwaiti boarder. More troops with SCUD missle launchers are heading west. The thought is that Saddam is about to attack our troops.

This is breaking news and details are few and far between.

I heard the report on Fox. It was a short "Breaking News" report by Bret Baird, who is in the region. He said that troops with heavy artillery were moving south towards Kuwait, and that Scuds had been moved to western Iraq (closer to Israel). He said US people thought this might be positioning for a preemptive attack.

He got the information from military people and confirmed it, he said.

He did not say the Scuds were leaving Baghdad.
