Oh, thank God....the first 48-72 hours are crucial, but deep in my heart, I know Dillon will survive and live a long and happy life.

Great news....and heartfelt prayers for the family, but there was never any doubt that the Maj would ship out...if it was an EM, he'd have been given emergency compassionate leave, and his fellow Marines would have made him understand that it was OK, it was the right thing to stay behind, but the Maj had a command position, and several hundred lives could depend on his being there. More importantly, his wife understood......OTOH, one coiuld surmise that the Marine Maj felt that the MidEast desert was preferable to 29 Palms....based on my time there, I might agree..LOL

'nad, hello, - know you're gone right now, but wanted to say I'm so happy for this news for your friend.

Heartfelt prayers to this family, and a wonderful thank you to his daddy. He makes me proud to be American, and proud to know he's out there serving his country.

Can the news get any better today! Elizabeth back, partial birth abortion ban passes Senate, and now the frosting on the cake with Dillon getting a heart. God bless this little guy.
