MARCH 22, 2003, THE CONNECTICUT CHAPTER OF FREEREPUBLIC.COM WILL BE HOLDING A RALLY AT THE BERLIN, CT, VFW ON MASSIRIO ROAD.
ELEMENTS OF THE HARDWARE CITY MARINE CORPS LEAGUE WILL BE ASSISTING, AND SO WILL MEMBERS OF THE VETERAN'S OF FOREIGN WARS, BERLIN CT.
From Hartford:
take 91 south to Rte 9 WEST.
Take exit 22, turn right at the end of the exit, then right at the light.
Turn right at the next light, Rte 372, and head west about 1/4 - 1/2 mile to MASSIRIO Road. The VFW is on that road.
From the south: Take 91 to Rte 9 WEST to exit 22, follow direction from above.
FFROM NEW YORK: Take either 84 EAST or rte 95 north
If 84 east, take rte 9 (west hartford) south/east to Christian Lane (Exit 23 or so), turn right at the end of the exit, then an immediate left. VFW is right down the road.
From rte 95: Take Rte 95 to Rte 91 north to Rte 9 WEST to exit 22. Follow directions from above.
Hey Race, Brad Davis was talking about you this morning on WDRC, about 8:10AM. He sounded absolutely fascinated -- and outraged -- reading parts of an e-mail you sent him about who is really behind the current "peace" movement. YOU are really giving HIM an education! He mentioned your name at least twice on the air this morning, and that he knew you from last week's rally with the VFW. Way to go!
Brad's a good guy, but seems to be a little "out of the loop" regarding any kind of "inside information" like this that we so readily find here at FR from a wide variety of sources. It seems like he picks up most of his news and information from Fox News and The Hartford Courant. He doesn't sound too internet-savvy either... Last week a caller was explaining how easily internet polls can be "manipulated" (here we call it "FReeped"!), and he was incredulous! He really didn't believe the caller! LOL
He needs to get onboard here at FR... once he gets the hang of it, I'm sure he'd be HOOKED (like the rest of us)! :-)
