**-An al-Qaida training camp commander from Afghanistan, now in U.S. custody, said al-Qaida sought chemical and biological weapons training from Iraq between 1997 and 2000. One operative later characterized his efforts in Iraq as successful.**
Enough for me.

Well, I guess it's the thought that counts. And it should be used to mash in the face of the leftist dullards who think there's some kind of magical separation between Church of Islam and "secular" state of Iraq. However, realistically, I don't think the puny efforts of Al-Qaeda in a real war is going to make a difference when we are locked and loaded for real Republican Guard bear.
The occasional grenade and molotov cocktail from these idiots won't be noticed among the thousands of Iraqi artillery shells, loaded with HE, bio and chem substances - that we are preparing for.

The treasure trove of information we will have after liberating Iraq will dwarf what we have today.
This evil terrorist with one leg won't be that hard to find.

But wait, this can't be right. Senators Kennedy and Daschle say there is no Al Qaeda connection.

No need to worry about al-Qaida attacking real soldiers. They only attack those who can't defend themselves, such as unsuspecting women and children.

I'd say... Bring it on.

Quite so. They are cowards that aren't ready to actually fight soldiers.

"The treasure trove of information we will have after liberating Iraq will dwarf what we have today."And we already have a lot right now, more than we need, in fact, to wage war on Iraq--not that Hans Blix would ever admit it...

And here's the rub. Like the Germans, whose beureaucratic nature compelled them to document the Holocaust down to the last filling extracted from every Jew, the Iraqis have written everything down, probably in triplicate. The Iraqi archives, especially those of the Mukhabarat and Uday's Special Republican Guard, will be a treasure trove for the CIA, MI-6, and the Mossad. Russia's FRS will also want a look-see, as we're going to kiss and make up with Putin after the War.
The Frog and the Hun will be kept as far away from Baghdad as possible. They backed the wrong horse. Now they'll have to sweat while the CIA exposes Franco-German contacts with Baghdad in dribs and drabs.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

This seems to be common to this type of regime. Something in their mental makeup I suppose. They seem to be almost proud of what they do. I have no doubt that we will find the same kind of documentation in North Korea.

Does a connection now necessitate one at 9/11?

I doubt we seek significant revenge against the Germans. Schroeder is in a very weak position right now, and it's entirely possible that his government won't survive that much longer. He hasn't tried to pull any stunts to make our troops in Germany have a hard time supporting the war effort.
On the other hand, the French government is extremly popular at home, and it's supposedly the conservatives. There is absolutely no down side to whacking them as hard and as often as possible, since no replacement government would likely be friendlier.
Germany might be rehabilitated. France is hopeless, and they are no longer our ally, no matter what diplomatic words might be uttered.

Horsepucky. The fact that the USSR assisted in winning WWII does not mean they were enemies of Germany at the outbreak. Things can change over time. There is, to my knowledge, no proof linking Iraq to 9/11 in any way.

There is, to my knowledge, no proof linking Iraq to 9/11 in any way. I guess we'll find out whether the Iraqi Intelligence Chief was feeding information and providing safe houses for the operation as alleged, one way or the other soon enough. I strongly suspect that Saddam was fully aware and supportive of the operation as well.

We may indeed. However, at this time there is no known link between 9/11 and Iraq.
