Powell did not know about the drone discovery when he addressed UN SC

MSNBC just had a short clip about the Iraqi drone that the London Times wrote about. It seems that...

the copy of the classified UN document that Powell was reading from when he gave his SC talk did not include the pages referring to the chemical spraying drone that the UN had recently discovered.

Blix said the copy Powell had was only a draft.

Yeah right. Both the draft and Blix's speech overlooked one of the most significant discoveries by the inspectors. Iraq has an previously unknow program to develop chemical srpaying drones.

As far as I am concerned Blix should quit now. He stacked the deck at a critical time.

Can you believe this -- I am not sure the word livid for Powell would suffice.

While watching Gretta's show last night .. a comment was made that the meeting after Blix gave his report at the SC was extremly intense

After reading this .. I am sure it was and I hope Powell and Straw ripped into the UN and Blix BIG TIME

That 167 page report turned into a 173 page report according to AP News Report.

Do you remember at the SC yesterday and at the end all of a sudden everyone was given papers/report .. I wonder if that was the missing papers Blix didn't orginally submit?

I predict the word Blix is going to enter our national vocabulary as an entirely new entity. It's going to mean "to tell a lie of such magnitude if blows the mind." I can see it now. Girlfriends screaming at cheating boyfriends.

I just listened to the Times reporter and he had all the details. Basically make up your own nightmare scenario, and it would be true. All the parts are in the Blix report.

The fact that Blix let the SC do what it did on Friday, in front of the world when he knew he was lying and covering up is just unbelievable.

There is no such thing regarding Iraq as an unbiased UN weapons of mass destruction inspector. There is no such thing as an unbiased UN. May all UNSC anti US delegates and their superiors become human canaries on the Iraqi battlefield to sense the presence first of chemical and biological weapons.

Not only did Blix deliberately mislead the world, people like Senator Carl Levin (MI) have repeatedly accused the Bush administration of not sharing our data with the inspectors. Democrats like Levin should be made to pay for their desire to submit to a world body that double deals us like this.
