Blix is paid for and wholly owned by the corrupt UN..
He is and has always been criminally incompetent or corrupt - or both.
THAT is why the UN insisted on BLIX.
Blix was objected to by the US.
We can all thank him, and the other assholes at the UN for bringing about their demise...

A report declassified by the UN yesterday contained the revelation that inspectors have recently discovered an undeclared Iraqi drone with a wingspan of 7.45m, the TIMES OF LONDON is reporting Saturday. US officials are outraged that Hans Blix did not inform the Security Council about the remotely piloted vehicle in his oral presentation to Foreign Ministers and tried to bury it in a 173-page single-spaced report distributed later in the day.
If it has a warhead it could also be classed as a missile.

Material Breach of UN Resolution 1441, i.e., a weapon of mass destruction.
Bad faith by Blix. This drone "is not a toothpick, it is a lethal weapon" -- indeed a weapon potentially of mass destruction.
Three results at minimal, IMHO: (1) This ought to disqualify Blix from further input. (2) This ought to establish for history the failure of the post- Gulf-war UN policy viz. Iraq, and thus, (3) the impending fullness of the post- cold-war irrelevance of the UN.

The pending liberation of Iraq is going to be a 'winner take all' war. Our troops are either going to find a mother lode of WMDs, torture chambers, links to international islamist terrorists, and human rights abuses ... or not.
If our pre-war intelligence reports are right, the UN and the anti-American left will be humiliated and proven irrelevant. If we're wrong, the Bush administration and America's long-term standing in world affairs will suffer the same fate.
To: Dirk McQuickly
About the poor bastard that tried to get asylum with the inspectors and was turned back to the authoritiesm and Blix said something like "there are more elegant ways to try to contact us."
To: Dirk McQuickly
Everyone is upset that Bush went to the UN over this whole thing at all. I think it's a stroke of genius. While he temporarily suffers an attack from the American fifth column of socialist/communists, and the disrespect of the leftist media, he gives the UN enough rope to hang themselves for the long term. Those of us with a brain (and guns) are watching.
Just beautiful! Of course, we will have to see what he does with it in the end...

Beware of those who live with their heads in the sand to fascilitate "Peace".They are truly sad and blinded by a faith of paralysis. This is probably the most ignorant posture a human can assume. It's as if God has failed. Man must differentiate good from evil and must, as the responsibility handed to the supreme animal species on the planet, shield and protect those who cannot protect themselves. Man must shield the ignorant from the danger circling their butts as they stick them up in the air.

Time to dispatch Blix to Iraq for some "personal inspection" by the chief inspector himself, on or about the 17th of March!
To: Dirk McQuickly
Blix's job is to run interference for Saddam so that he can make his witch's brew of death with which to murder Americans and Israeli's. This job, Blix does very well.

Why have I not seen this reported on CNN or Fox this morning. It seems to me that this is very important news? If Drudge was reporting about Michael Jackson the media would be on no-commercial status about now. Will this be ignored by the media?

A scene from Henry V comes to mind right now that apply to Blix and the UN. Join'd with an enemy proclaim'd and from his coffers
Received the golden earnest of our death;
Wherein you would have sold your king to slaughter,
His princes and his peers to servitude,
His subjects to oppression and contempt
And his whole kingdom into desolation
