Fine. You will be held accountable for your vote after Iraq is liberated, and the true extent of the Iraqi regimes WMD and human rights record will be known.
To: areafiftyone
After the elimination of Saddam, we will discover how China has also helped Iraq with its ability to make and use WMD. China, like France and Germany, is trying to cover-up its dirty hands.

As the former Dear Leader, President Xlinton (D-Wal-Mart) would say,
"That depends on what you mean by prevail"

"That depends on what you mean by prevail"It means that, when this is all over, the vast majority of the American antiwar crowd will still be alive amd walking free, unlike dissidents in China.
It also means China plans to vote no...it won't stop the successful prosecution of the war, but they can still say the sentiment "prevailed".

The U.N. is dead, just like NATO. Good riddance.

The U.N. is deadUnfortunately that doesn't mean they won't keep it propped up and artificially animated, like Walter Mondale in the Senate campaign last fall. ;D

Exactly, cut off trade with them and put our people back to work!I don't have a problem with buying Chinese goods, but I boycotted during the survellance plane incident, and I think we need another boycott now. Not about Iraq. I frankly don't give a damn what the Chinese do about Iraq, but if they're so damn interested in political solutions, they need to get off their clymers and give us a political solution in North Korea. We're headed for a no-shiite-millions-could-die war there if something isn't done. The Chinese are fully capable of doing something, and obviously they are not so far.

I'd say it's rushing headlong towards a cliff, with no intention of slowing down.

"the opposition to war is prevailing." Prevail in what sense? If by 'prevailing' he means keeping us from taking care of the business at hand (militarily), he's living in a dream world.
