Yes, but by points 1 and 2 themselves, we must assume that they will continue their opposition -- for otherwise they break faith with their voters when it counts most.

Personally, I also think that they are genuine leftists and pacifists, but that's just my own opinion.

I've finally reached the conclusion that this war actually is about oil. But Europe's oil, not ours.

And by "this war" I am referring to the war that began in 1991. It all makes sense to me now -- that whole thing was a construct of the U.N. primarily for the benefit of Europe, and we are preparing to enter the final phase right now.
