Its not about disarming its about regime change. Disarming is the peacenik's pipedream.

The very best take on the President's speech just came from former Congressmen Joe Scarborough and J.C. Watts. Joe has a new show on MSNBC and had J.C. on as his guest. Joe kept setting up questions for J.C. to hit them out of the park. J.C. said that best thing he heard the President say was they was not going to let the UN determine his plan of action. J.C. was absolutely great tonight! Said the President doesn't have time to sit around worrying about polls! Those two together make me very proud to be a Republican!
Finally a show on MSNBC with a Republican as the anchor!

Where does it say in Blix's job description that he should give PRESS CONFERENCES! Oh, get real. THey never write "sycophant" in the job description. He's doing whatever he thinks will make the UN look good; and that is not necessarily what is in the world's interest, nevermind the US interest.

I have heard bits and pieces from Davis. Made me totally wonder about everything. She got my attention, she said that she is still investigating and would call back (to the radio station) when she had more information

Just let me know what you find out. Maybe I'll wait to post some more until tomorrow.
I've determined that "militant Islam" is nothing more than a front for some loosely-planned, but nonetheless related, terrorist attacks against the U.S.

President Bush's very clear call for everyone putting his cards on the table promises high drama tomorrow at the UN. I can't wait to see the dithering and verbal hand wringing.
On FOX this afternoon, someone (sorry, can't remember name) who evidently knows Blix characterized him as "unimaginative", "wanting to please everyone", "easily fooled." I found his giving that press conference yesterday to be an exercise in egotism and a clear portrayal of an academic pleased to be in the spotlight.

See post #1322. I've started connecting some dots here over the last few days, and the U.S. government doesn't come out of this looking very good.

I have been through the bombing memorial museum quite a few times and 2+2 do not add up. What does add up is the large mural made from a picture taken at the Memorial Service. Hillary Clinton looks like the cat that swallowed the canary along with her husband while everyone else around is so very sad and hurt. She is as happy as a clam!

Great informative post. Thanks.

This thread is about his press conference. In this press conference he said his job is to protect the American people. I'm saying he's not doing that. The President has a remarkable history of being "misunderestimated". With that in mind, it is possible that he has two missions: protecting the American people; and shutting down that useless, pompous, over-paid social club known as the United Nations.
To: CoolGuyVic
There is no consistency in his posts except that he is consistently ignorant and stupid.
If you find that appealing, it may say more about you than it does about him.

On MSNBC with SCarborough is David Kay who is saying he believes Blix has a hidden agenda!
I agree with you -- I cannot wait until tomorrow!
To: Howlin
The 160 page report details the missing chemical and biological weapons...and discloses that Iraq actually had more of these weapons at the end of the first Gulf war than intially reported.
IMHO, Blix should be reading this report out loud...page by page.
To: Cboldt
David Kay is on MSNBC with Scarborough giving great details about WMD and Blix!

Had to go eat dinner. Trying now to catch up reading the thread. I'm only in the 1200's and it's now in the 1700's!
Look forward to hearing from you. Praying for you and your family. Have been to the Presidential Prayer site but not signed up yet.

See post #1322. I've started connecting some dots here over the last few days, and the U.S. government doesn't come out of this looking very good. And from #1322 . . .
The last thing American citizens want to hear is that Iraq has been carrying out low-grade guerrilla warfare inside the United States since 1993.
Actually, perhaps that would cement the case foe the upcoming action in Iraq. I can understand the mind-set that thinks it is better if the cat doesn't have to come out of the bag, but I thing strong societies need to be cognizant of reality.
