No never, but Helen's and old broad that has shown she has no class about her. N.O.W. would be proud.

Well, let's figure that he's at the end of the diplomatic trail. This song and dance is almost over. He wants a vote.
Time for the tanks to top off their fuel guages. It's almost time for the Big Dance.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

Bozo, did the NK's do this to America. You are mouthing do the N K's first line of the left wingers and the so called right wingers.
You and NK will just have to be patient and take a number. Now is the time for Iraq, and you know that don't you?
Who did you vote for in 2000?

You in a hurry to get lots of Americans killed?
Nosir - - which is why I'd like to see the Bush Doctrine viz North korea (ie, "containment will work") tried against Iraq.
To: churchillbuff
Why not North Korea?...Simple, billions in China....CHINA is the reason.

I'm sitting here wondering if that nasty beast (Hellen) was banned from this press conference. She and Ari have probably been chatting in the daily press briefing room, wondering where everyone else is and what's taking them so long to get there.

Britt Hume surprised that we will call for a vote from the Security Council, as we all are. I suspect the Chinese, French, etc., were caught off guard.
To: Office Manager
He called on Jim Angle.

Jim Angle (sp?) was called on.
To: altura
Bush. I'm really glad that he's my President. Very somber and real. He made his point clearly.

I honestly don't get you people. From reading your responses one gets the impression that you would be content to wait another 12 years. Do you honestly think we need to "buy more time" before we take action? Do you really believe that more debate is required? Do you really think the same points need to be repeated ad nauseum indefinitely before we even admit that we are going to war? I'm seriously confounded by such counsel and actually quite disheartened. We should be seriously concerned with the mismanagement of this venture.
To: RummyChick
Perhaps it will be 20 years from now before we really hear what went down in the days before the war started. What do you think may have occurred?

There have been a lot of complaints from Freepers about the questions asked the President this evening. I have a whole different feeling about this. These are all things the American public wants to know and the libs want to attack him for. The questions gave our President a chance to answer them. It was to Bush's advantage to get the answers out there to the public. And he did a damn fine job of it.
I read this as a very straightforward, defiant speech by a man who's resigned to the fact war will happen. Folks, don't get caught up in the stylistic parts of this press conference; this was a very substantive speech if you listen to its undertones.

Are you a member of the Presidential Prayer Team? Not officially, but we pray for the President, his family, and staff every day, and I visit the site periodically. I probably should sign up, though.

Here's the ultimate answer: Saddam wants domination. He wants to rule over the region and ultimately the world with an iron fist.Kim wants money. DPRK is poor. DPRK is dying. Kim could become dangerous later, but he's not dangerous now. He knows where the line is.
Saddam doesn't. Saddam is supplying AQ and other terrorists. Ultimately, Saddam is far more dangerous.
