FOX News is saying no evidence of foul play. Algiers? Ripe for a terrorist attack, imho . . .

We'll see . . .

I wonder if this has any relationship to Chirac's visit the other day, or if it's just a coincidence.

"no evidence of foul play"

It's way too soon to say that.

"...no evidence of foul play..."

Since 9/11, that's usually the first or second statement given in these things, even before there's been a chance to actually investigate that possibility. As you say, we'll see...

Is FR seeming slow to anyone else, or is this my isp or browser?

Not as slow as yesterday afternoon. I couldn't get on at all between 2 and 3PM PST.

For the past decade, Algeria has had a SERIOUS problem with militant Islamic groups.

Terrorism is still a possibility.

FOX News says it's 97 PLUS the crew now. Also I think they mentioned possibly one survived? Speculation. We'll see. Thanks, Saber ...

Algeria has had a SERIOUS problem with militant Islamic groups.

Unfortunately, many of which happen to live and operate in France.

No, it's not. It's too soon, though, to draw the inference that was possibly intended:

"no evidence of foul play" = "evidence of no foul play."

The first statement is true, so far as it goes. The problem arises when folks try to stretch it farther.

Well, the Boeing 737 is a plane with a bad track record. Problems with the tail rudder led to the FAA ordering all 737's in the U.S. airfleet to be inspected, and in many cases, to have the rudder drive mechanism replaced. This was back in 1997 or so. Add to this the fact that safety among African-based airlines is THE worst on the planet, and this accident doesn't come as too much of a surprise.

I seriously doubt that terrorism was involved.

NO, WE WON'T SEE

What will we see? Like always, we will be told that 'there is no evidence of terrorism'. Then, we will be told that an investigation is under way. Then there will be a theory about some cause WHICH HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE AND WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. Then, after a long investigation, there will be no conclusive finding.

This will be called 'an accident' and it will be lumped into all of the other BOMBINGS since Value Jet to which people respond, "sometimes planes just crash". NO THEY DON'T.

I have been telling you people since TWA that there have been many, many plane bombings that USUALLY INVOLVE JFK IN NEW YORK, OR THEY INVOLVE FRANCE. But there are others as well. Although the shoe bomber was caught, still people are willing to buy the load of crap from the government.

If it were not so obvious, if there were just one plane on 9/11 then they would have said that was an accident also. It is all lies.

We are fast approaching the day where these 'crashes' are not even reported on the news, they will just be considered like a car crash. It is all lies. The space shuttle 'investigation' has never ever used the words, "BOMB", "SABOTAGE", "MAINTENANCE CREW", "PAKISTAN-BORN WOMAN WHO WAS DETERMINED TO BE AN ASTRONAUT".

Wake up people. WE WILL NOT SEE. WE WILL NOT SEE THE TRUTH. WE WILL ONLY SEE LIES.
