Some of us are speculating, based on the tone of the dem speeches this morning, that the first vote will be defeated, to appease the base, but they sounded defeated themselves and we're hoping this gets wrapped up soon.

The DemocRATs are going to look worse than silly if they are still blocking Estrada when the balloon goes up in Iraq - which could be at any hour now.

it seems pretty certain now that this vote will fail...

my guess is that the Dems were told to say no on the first, and after that they were free to vote their conscience.
