Ok lets just say for a moment you bunch of pampered, overpaid, unrealistic children had your way and the U.S.A. didnt go into Iraq.
Lets say that you really get your way and we destroy all our nuclear weapons and stick daisies in our gun barrels and sit around with some white wine and cheese and pat ourselves on the back, so proud of what weve done for world peace.
Lets say that we cut the military budget to just enough to keep the National Guard on hand to help out with floods and fires.
Lets say that we close down our military bases all over the world and bring the troops home, increase our foreign aid and drop all the trade sanctions against everybody.
I suppose that in your fantasy world this would create a utopian world where everybody would live in peace. After all, the great monster, the United States of America, the cause of all the worlds trouble would have disbanded its horrible military and certainly all the other countries of the world would follow suit.
After all, they only arm themselves to defend their countries from the mean old U.S.A.
Why you bunch of pitiful, hypocritical, idiotic, spoiled mugwumps. get your head out of the sand and smell the Trade Towers burning. Do you think that a trip to Iraq by Sean Penn did anything but encourage a wanton murderer to think that the people of the U.S.A. didnt have the nerve or the guts to fight him?
Barbra Streisands fanatical and hateful rankings about George Bush makes about as much sense as Michael Jackson hanging a baby over a railing.
You people need to get out of Hollywood once in a while and get out into the real world. Youd be surprised at the hostility you would find out here. Stop in at a truck stop and tell an overworked, long distance truck driver that you dont think Saddam Hussein is doing anything wrong.
Tell a farmer with a couple of sons in the military that you think the United States has no right to defend itself.
Go down to Baxley, Georgia and hold an anti-war rally and see what the folks down there think about you.
You people are some of the most disgusting examples of a waste of protoplasm Ive ever had the displeasure to hear about.
Sean Penn, youre a traitor to the United States of America. You gave aid and comfort to the enemy. How many American lives will your little, fact finding trip to Iraq cost? You encouraged Saddam to think that we didnt have the stomach for war.
You people protect one of the most evil men on the face of this earth and wont lift a finger to save the life of an unborn baby. Freedom of choice you say?
Well Im going to exercise some freedom of choice of my own. If I see any of your names on a marquee, Im going to boycott the movie. I will completely stop going to movies if I have to. In most cases it certainly wouldnt be much of a loss.
You scoff at our military whos boots youre not even worthy to shine. They go to battle and risk their lives so ingrates like you can live in luxury. The day of reckoning is coming when you will be faced with the undeniable truth that the war against Saddam Hussein is the war on terrorism.
America is in imminent danger. Youre either for her or against her. There is no middle ground.
I think we all know where you stand.
What do you think?
God Bless America

This letter by Daniels in his soapbox forum had not been posted on FR so offered it up for your view. An "Open Letter To The Media" by Daniels was posted on FR,March 4th by another Freeper with little response, so thought we needed a big thumbs up for Mr. Daniels and his Pro-Bush support when we only read mostly those in print that boast Anti-Bush rhetoric.

He may be on his soap box but he's 100% right, I'm so tired of those Hollywood pukes. By the way I live in Alma, Ga which is about 20 minutes away from Baxley, Ga and I can tell you first hand that it would give us the utmost pleasure to put the boot upside the head of some of these spoiled Commie Hollywood traitors.

Thanks for posting this. Keep in mind that the very business of Hollywood, its very reason for existence, is to take fiction and make it seem real for the two hours that someone sits in a darkened theater with a bucket of overpriced popcorn. It should therefore be no surprise when those in the falsehold business first deceive themselves, then determine that they are "important voices," then set out to deceive the American people.
The war itself, in the first week after it begins, will strip away the mask of their lies. That's my precise subject in my column, this week.
Congressman Billybob
Latest column, not yet up on UPI, and FR, "Truth, the First Casualty?"
Latest book(let), "to Restore Trust in America."

What these hollywood left un-American yo yo's fail to realize is that late baby boomers like me are old enough to remember what they did in the 60's. When they spew all of their "make love not war" BS and march against America and our Military, they create Americans like me. In turn I marry an American like me. Then two Americans like me, have children like me. End result...Five Americans like me (including a son in-law in the Air National Guard).
BTW, my 3 yr old grandson is a Patriot as well! When his birthday comes around he has informed his Mother that he wants President Bush's picture on it. :)
I have two sons that are Patriots. They are heading off to College this fall. One has decided he wants to work for the FBI in the anti-terriorism division and the other has decided he wants to be a politician (Conservative of course).
The Left does NOT get it!!!!!!!!!!!

The internet -- and folks like you who keep us internet-challenged morons like
moi up-to-date with articles like this -- is the GREAT EQUALIZER! The so-called "Silent Majority" wasn't really silent before . . . we just had jobs and families and responsibilities and taxes to take care of so that many of the "protestors" who don't have jobs, responsibilities, etc. are afforded the luxury of raising hell against the very system that supports them.
But with the internet, us silent folks can make our voices be heard loud and clear and we can still be faithful care-takers of the American system we love.
Thanks for posting this.

Well, we have broad sweeping generalizations of a wide variety of views all packed in with thick hyperbole. I love some of his music, but all musicians, regardless of their views, need to sit down and shut up. Enough is enough already. Disregarding some of the looney Hollywood left and the half-brained "protesters", many people have legitimate concerns about this "war" and oppose it for legitimate, rational and logical reasons. "Hollywood" doesn't speak for everyone opposed to the war.

all musicians, regardless of their views, need to sit down and shut up. I hope those such as Daniels never sit down and shut up.
