On Savage the other night, a doctor called in and had a very good point. We should quarantine these human shields when they want to come back. What a way for Saddam to get smallpox into this country, than to expose these retards the day before they fly home. We don't do any health screening. These fools wouldn't even have symptoms for a couple of days.

Maybe we should contact the senator to voice our concerns about the safety/security risk of these idiots coming back into this country. Lets send them to Gitmo.

Graham, .... said he believes the "full force of the law should be applied to those American citizens who give aid or comfort to our enemies." So he wants to prosecute Hillary, Dashale, Kennedy, et al?

"It's too bad they will be allowed back in to the U.S."
That deserves a bump. Men and women with no country should be their fate.
I can see the television movie already.
To: Indy Pendance
I agree with the Senator. Those "Americans" involved in this treason should be refused entry back into the U.S. until they are thoroughly investigated for what crimes they may have committed in aiding and giving comfort to our enemy. Then they should be given two choices - permanent denial of entry back into the U.S. or allow them to enter back into the U.S. to stand trial and be incarcerated for their crime.
This goes double for Ramsey Clark.

Strip them of citizenship Off topic, but, where is the provision for that?
To: harpseal
Actually since the use of force has been authorized by Congress we legally are at war already. Nope.

Ref. post #16.
You are 100% correct.
Unfortunately, Sen. Graham didn't do his homework before opening his mouth.
To: Coop
I think Sen. Graham should concern himself with breaking the Estrada filibuster and other important matters. Why waste legislation on these morons? I agree with you about Estrada, but he has no case what so ever in bring charges against those useful ediots...zip, nada.
To: Protagoras
The first is not an option. You just watch. Each and every one of the traitorous bastards - to include Ramsey Clark - will be able to cross freely back into the U.S. without a problem.
And when they do, we should visit them in their homes with vats of tar and sacks of feathers and give them some of what they deserve.

Ref post # 27.
That was then. Today it can't be done.
To: Tony Niar Brain
I'm afraid all Sen. Graham can do is talk; there is no legal ground to prosecute these people under treason because legally, we are not at war. Bzzzzzt! Wrong answer.
What do you call the authorization of force - still in effect, might I add - from 12 years ago? What do you call the further authorization of force passed by Congress last last year?
I don't like as much as you don't like it, but an official Declaration of War is no longer used, but instead an Authorization of Force. Legally, technically, literally the same thing. Congress says go - bombs drop.

No thanks, you can form your own vigilante mob, but I'll stick to the rule of law.
To: Protagoras
Because the Human Shields(TM) are being quite stupidly used to protect infrastructure and army bases. The case could be made that they are in fact taking up arms against the US - an act that will justify the stripping of citizenship.

Your opinion is noted. I will continue to insist on the rule of law. If they are charged with a crime, they will be tried, and if found guilty, punished.
Please cite the source to back up your contention that citizenship can be stripped from them under the law.
To: Protagoras
There is a very specific set of laws that also happens to have a great deal of age regarding citizenship and the way that you lose it. The US Code is available on the web, as are some cases and quite a few websites. You wanna find 'em, go get 'em, tiger.

"...giving aid and comfort to the enemy?"
Section. 3. Clause 1: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
Clause 2: The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.
Testimony of two witnesses...how about their pass-ports, TV cameras and their fellow traitors?
The meaning of attainder: extinction of the civil rights and capacities of a person upon sentence of death or outlawry usually after a conviction of treason
If the United States Constitution means anything at all, then these people should be tried in not your usual court, they have become Military Combatants by placing themselves at the enemys disposal.
Write this Senator or call him today...make the Constitution MEAN something.
