Between songs, the pugnacious Hynde, in a classic black T-shirt and jeans, bantered and battled with the crowd. She dedicated "You Know Who Your Friends Are" to "all you junkies and f--," gave a shout-out to the late Joe Strummer, opined that she hopes the United States loses if it goes to war with Iraq ("Bring it on! Give us what we deserve!"), and introduced the song "Fools Must Die" with the self-deprecating quip, "I'll show you how it's done."

I hear (from Rush) that ZZ Top are doing some original bumbers for his show. Maybe they can give him a new intro piece, too.

I don't know about the body, but I definitly want to know how not to have a face like that at any age. She ought to be haunting houses with that mug. I'm sure it would drive the spooks right out!No kidding. Looks like Iggy Pop's older brother!

This is the email I sent to Rush:
Drop "Back to Ohio" Theme... Shun Hynde's Treason
Hello Rush;
I am a Pretenders fan from way, way back, but Chrissy Hynde turning pro terrorist was the last straw. Out went my Pretenders CD's in the trash, and I recomend you also trash your now too familiar theme. Time for a change anyway... I strongly recomend something VERY patriotic... "The Battle Hymn of the Repubic"! Glory Hallealueah! "... He will loose the fateful lightning of his terrible swift sword"! Please consider this change. Thank you and god bless you and all Americans.
Sincerely,
Rick Axtell

I'd be interested to see if he brings it up during his WED show.

Her medication obviously needs to be adjusted. It happens periodically with those Hollywood types. It's not a pretty site.

Look on the bright side. Everyday she has to wake up knowing she's a has-been.

What is it with these actors and singers...does that use up all your brain that you are no longer able to think rationally? Is being an actor/singer a physical disability?

what has Bush really done that is so horrible to make them hate him so much? It's payback, plain and simple. The left has never recovered from what the "right wing conspiracy" did to their poster boy. And central casting couldn't have provided a better whiping boy than W. He's rich, he's an oilman, he's a republican and he displays Christian sensibilities.

That's right, she's a militant vegitarian; an anti-meat kinda gal. Also a militant vagitarian.
