March 4, 2003 -- PERHAPS you remember the extremely well-spoken Road-Runner-chaser who uttered these immortal words: "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Wile E. Coyote, Super Genius."

The arrogant Coyote's efforts to trap the Road Runner all ended in calamity for their creator, who ended the cartoon by amending his opening remarks: "Allow me to introduce myself - my name is mud."

The Dems have less and less credibility with the American public as a party that's sincere about wanting to protect the country from it's enemies. And it deserves it. Remember those treasonous piles of manure that went to Baghdad to kiss Hussein's rear end? Democrats all of them. There's plenty more Dems who share their leftist sympathies. And these know-nothing clowns are going to protect us?!!? The donkey party will have change a lot of their leftist ideas to gain the confidence of Americans.

"They've argued with great heat that the president has allowed himself to be distracted by the looming war with Iraq and is therefore neglecting the war on terrorism."

I think I read yesterday that there's an encampment of al qeada up in northern Iraq, where the al qaeda plan on creating a Taliban-style Kurdistan. It appears they have some kind of deal with Saddam--

BEEP BEEP!

Ya gotta love that there's an actual Roadrunner/Coyote US Postage stamp:

But to really capture the dynamic between Bush (Roadrunner) and the Democrats (Wile E. Coyote), I think this one sums it up best:

What is even worse for the Democrats is that every time they gain any momentum in any one direction, the liquid hole they poured months ago catches a breeze and plops down right in front of them.

Not to be nit-picky, but, although Wile E. was the main antagonist for the Road Runner, in THIS particular instance, he was after Bugs Bunny...

"You are a rabbit, and I am going to eat you."

"And remember, 'MUD' spelled backwoids is 'DUM'."

What's scarier; that we both know this little factoid, or that you pointed it out :-)

In any case, Wile E., explosives and trains just don't mix.

I think the fact that I still remember this at thirty seven is simply terrifying.

But then, I am a bit of a cartoonist, so you gotta figure...
