Tribune7 and I will try very hard to make it. Bring the balloon!
Just kidding.

Great first post. Wish you the best of luck.
We had between 8 and 10 thousand in Cleveland, and found lurkers by the droves when we set up a central car and identified it with a Free Republic sign.
If you have access to a D sized drawing printer, DoughtyOne has some great posters to make signs with.
Best of Luck from NorthEast Ohio.

You know, I've never been to Valley Forge. What would your basic directions from DC be? North to the King of Prussia Mall and then make a turn.

"Blueprints" come in different sizes. "A" size is the same as a sheet of paper, 8 & 1/2 bt 11 inches. "B" is bigger, and "D" is what you see in the movies when they breakout the "floor plans" of a buildling. It's about 2 foot by 3 foot in size.

Thanks for that info. I don't have any equipment like that. Just a regular HP deskjet 722C printer. Maybe I'll copy some things and go to Kinko's.

For those who haven't been to Valley Forge - it's a beautiful park. Some of the trenches are still there, where the ground was too steep to farm on. It's a great running park as well, some people live nearby just to be able to run in that park whenever they like. It's also a pretty good natural fortress.

You might want to try a local company that would have an engineering department. They would have a D sized printer, and they might do it for free, especially if you only want one or two, not twenty like we ran off.
Try the county Republican party, they might be able to tell you who the company owners/CEOs are that are part of the local party. You might be able to get a few more that way.
This is what some of our signs looked like:

Thanks for that info. Some very good ideas.
Abner, were you at the protest against Gore stealing the election in Philadelphia at Independence Hall back in Nov/Dec 2000? I think I met you there.

I am pretty sure there is a gun show at King of Prussia that same weekend, it's about two blocks away from Valley Forge. I'll try to get this message over to the gun boards.

My wife works right down 202 at Great Valley. BUMP.
To: baseballmom
Excuse me, a little confused.
Are you saying you have a permit for a Ralley in a National Park? If so, do you have speakers, do you have a sound system, did you rent porta-potties, do you have security. Just some basic stuff. There are more questions.
I think the idea is great but do you have your act together and do you need more help?
I think they are legit questions before we start driving.
To: baseballmom
Yes, I was. I was the one with the Sore/Loserman shirts.
Brrr. . . that was cold....

Disregard my #37, just saw it is WPHT. They should know what to do.
This sounds exciting.
