Thanks for that info. I don't have any equipment like that. Just a regular HP deskjet 722C printer. Maybe I'll copy some things and go to Kinko's.

You might want to try a local company that would have an engineering department. They would have a D sized printer, and they might do it for free, especially if you only want one or two, not twenty like we ran off.
Try the county Republican party, they might be able to tell you who the company owners/CEOs are that are part of the local party. You might be able to get a few more that way.

Layout your "sign" on an 8&1/2 by 11 inch sheet of paper on your printer using MS Word or whatever.
Go to Kinko's, for $1.50 each, they'll blow it up 205% onto an 18" by 24" piece of paper.
Plop that down on standard 24' x 28' posterboards, you'll get a 2 inch border.
