Thanks for the info - it looks like it is just up the road from King of Prussia mall. I was going to try to get there early and park at FF. I'll play it by ear.
I can't wait. Hope we get to meet up.

It was a great day. The temperature touched 70 degrees. The crowd was at least 6,000 but it is hard to estimate since the amphitheater overflowed. And this despite a horrific parking setup.
The speakers were great, the signs were fantastic, and Abner and Victim of Circumstance got their ballon up -- at least for a little while. Taxman, Baseballmom and Temple Owl were also there.
I have pixs but I'm having trouble getting them on the net right now.

It was so great to meet you all today. I took some pictures, but have to wait until my son comes home to help me upload.
Thanks for the ride Mo. I was home in a jiffy.!!!
Should we start a new thread - a Rally Report - when we start to upload the pictures?? That might make it easier for everyone to see.

Sadly, my 7-year old son and I missed out on the rally. We were at the Valley Forge exit of the turnpike by 12:30 and didn't make it to the nearby parking area until 2. By then, the line for the shuttle bus snaked all over, and I estimated it to take another hour. We threw in the towel and drove home rather than fight the inevitable any longer.
There were huge numbers of people who, like us, never got to the rally because of the massive turnout and clogged roadways. Shortly after leaving, I heard on the radio that the shuttle buses had stopped running and that people waiting in line were left high and dry. The organizers clearly didn't expect this level of participation. Even my little son had the wisdom to see that the huge turnout was a good thing even though it kept us from participating directly. He said we could find other ways to support the President and our troops without being caught in traffic until dinnertime. That sweet, patient little kid was treated to water ice on the way home!

Just 6,000? I thought it was at least triple that. The place was crammed and jammed and people were still trying to get in after it was all over. What a wonderful day!
We met Freepers --Baseballmom, Abner, Victim of Circumstance, Taxman, and they were just as nice in person as they are on the net.
The balloon went up, the signs were great, and we met heroes galore--including several decorated World War ll infantrymen.
Let me repeat myself it was a wonderful day.

I'm getting my photos ready now. We were also on NBC 10. I am going to try to get that video up on the web site later tonight. I still have to edit the video from the airplane.. Great to meet everyone. Wish I could have talked more. Here is me next to the USA banner-
I'm in the corner.

Oh no, that is too bad. The crowd was huge. We didn't realize how big really, until we were leaving and the lines for the busses were snaking all the way to the staging area. You're little guy gets it already!!! Today was a great day for a water ice - is Rita's open yet ??
