It does not honor the victims of 9/11 to trot them out anytime a war needs justifying to the American public. Especially a war that's tangentially related, at best.

I probably have over 75 tapes from September 11th and the days following.

This year I think I will go through my tapes and watch all of them, label and put in order and then put them away to protect them.

I taped CNN, ABC (Have Jennings saying a lot of very stupid things) and Fox plus some from CBS , NBC and C-Span.

I tried to watch a few of the tapes last year but never made it all the way through any of them.

The networks have decided not to show some of the footage again but I can watch it if I choose, although it seems to be burned into my memories anyways and I don't actually have to watch the tapes to relive that day.

I wish there was a way to capture that smell we lived with for months. Thick dusty dirt mixed with moist burned flesh. THEN knowing some that belonged to that smell.

I will never understand how just a year and a half ago the WORLD said, "We are all Americans Today" and now the coalition of the 'WILLING' includes LATVIA but NOT France or Germany or Russia.
