Shiver along with the D.C. Chapter, FReepers from across the country, other patriotic Americans and Iraqi exiles as C-SPAN broadcasts the Patriots Rally For America IV today at 1:05 p.m.

Recorded yesterday at the cold, fog-shrouded, snow-covered grounds of the Washington Monument, the rally held to support our troops, President Bush and the American policy on Iraq features former Rep. Bob Dornan, Aziz Al-Taee, Blanquita Cullum, John Armor, James Parmelee, Kevin Martin, Adam Ramey and yours truly.

Also featured are singers Cullen Martin, Stephanie Souders and, from Nashville, Lowell Shyette.

The program, if shown in it's entirety, should run three hours and fifteen minutes.

Get some hot chocolate ready, pop some popcorn, put on your red, white and blue sweaters and get ready to root for the home team: the men and women serving in our Armed Forces.

Maybe not all, but we have seen the proof, some college in Mi or WI passed around a flyer, and most of us read it last Oct, they offered free rides and board for those who went, this is not a joke or myth, I saw the flyer personnaly. I think Sauropod has it

I saw a flier just in the last week about free bus rides and t-shirts to go to Washington for some education protest. You're right.

While I appreciate your kind words about the rally, your response to the comments by TAdams 8591 are seriously wrong. Do a search on "Don Adams" in the FR archives. You'll be suprised and hopefully you'll correct some of your comments. She's a brave woman who paid a heavy price for standing up when others cowered during the Clinton years.

Ms. Adams has been a friend of the D.C. Chapter from many years. I have no desire to rake her over the coals for her remarks and I wish others wouldn't either.

I have read posts on FR by a poster named Rush Limbaugh. I don't know if it's the one and only, but I just pulled up his FR profile page and this is what I found.

Rush Limbaugh signed up 2001-06-17. This account has been banned.

If I had to bet, it wasn't The Big Guy. Though I'm sure if he wanted that screen name for himself, it would be "unbanned" and re-iisued in a heartbeat.
