Anti-War Protestors Cornered
Self ^ | 3/1/2003 | William Burke

Anti-War Protestors put on an ugly face Saturday Afternoon - being pretty much confined to a single corner at the intersection of Brea and Imperial Hwy.

Apparently, they don't like sharing the intersection with people who don't agree with them. This image is copyrighted by the owner

I don't want them coming home in body bags.

I don't either, but freedom is isn't free. If we don't stand now we will be using those body bags in our on country. To but it blunt, the price now is cheaper than what it would be later. Don't think for a moment if we back off now that it will be over. That tactic never works. Pick up the nearest history book.

Seems pretty pro-American to me to not want to send our young people off to die...even if all we care about is ourselves...I do support our troops. I don't want them coming home in body bags.

"I believe in the United States of
America as a Government of the people, by the people,
for the people, whose just powers are derived from the
consent of the governed; a democracy in a Republic; a
sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect Union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles
of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for
which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.
"I therefore believe it is my duty to my Country to love it, to
support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies."

Freedom isn’t just a word it takes hard work to make it flourish and grow and sometimes we must defend it from weeds and other unwanted growth.

If the shoes fits...........

The second set of pictures....the second picture with the banner that reads: "No War On Iraq".

There is a sign just above it in yellow. It appears to read: "Support All Human Beans"

?????

All this time I have been envisioning "Whirled Peas". Am I out of the loop!

was that some of the kids were'nt even old enough for high school.

On Jan. 18, a local college history prof. was doing the same thing @ our local army base.

"so why is it anti-american to disagree with the president??

Um, that's why no one calls us France.

In the modern-day NEA, he was probably both.
