What's the guy's name that's with bin Laden with the eye patch? You mean the former head of the Taliban? Omar.

I mean, Pakistan is not exactly our best friend in this matter. They've arrested and turned over to us literally hundreds of al-Qaeada, including some of the biggest fish we have. Nearly every day Pakistani police, military and intelligence officers risk their lives, and dozens have lost their lives, pursuing these terrorists and making these arrests (as well as defending Christian Churches and Shiite Mosques). Could they do more? Maybe. Were they woefully late in modifying their past support of terrorism and radicalism (and are they still dragging their feet wrt Kurdistan)? Certainly. But let's not shiite on what they have done, for they have done a great deal, and they have come a long way.

That's good. Hopefully he'll forget about the news of Turkey's vote being nullified. That was the last thing we needed to deal with all weekend.

I think there is no question he will be handed over.Handed over, but not headed to Gitmo. It is more, shall we say, advantageous that he be interrogated by agents of a country that is not so squeamish about the "civil rights" of mass murderers.

and with india and iran buddying up... pakistan will have a little more motivation to be cooperative with us.

I think the Turkey vote is for public consumption...it won't stop a thing...just actually works for us because Saddam may be dumb enough to breathe easier.

Let's hope he gets more than the 15-year sentence that Germany gave the other 9/11 plotter. I'm sure this puke have a nice reception when he gets out.

I hope our interrogators wear those "I [heart] NYC" hats while they cut his fingers off, one knuckle at a time.

Never mind the cost, the psychological returns based on this capture will be worth more than the cost..!!

Wonder how many U.S. taxpayer dollars this cost. Foreign assistance? Transfer payments? Loan credits? Man-hours? Krispy Kremes? Be specific. And if you think we spent too much, then say so. Then leave.

When's the execution? We are not barbarians.
We will have the trial first, then we will execute him.
