BUSH: his nomination is being delayed and stalled by democratic senators - been delayed for 2 years for purely political reasons - applying double standard - asking questions no one has ever been forced to answer - by blocking they are flaunting the tradition of the us senate - ABA gave him highest ratings - unfair double standard - failing to give an up or down vote - i will stnad by that mans side until he is sworn in as a judge

My power was restored about a hour ago. Good thing too, cuz my batteries in the laptop were down to 7 percent.

GWB just said the Democrats in the Senate are flaunting the U.S. Constitution. And said he will stand by this man's side until he is sworn in.

"I will stand by that man's side until he is sworn in as a Judge."

I remember as a child hearing about I think it was Strom reading from his Mother's Cook book during a filibuster. May be someone should send the Clinton Legacy Cook book.

Naming names....saying the democrats in the senate are unfairly holding Estrada to a double standard. Quoted Alexander Hamilton as saying that the senate should only fight presidential nominees to the federal bench if they are "unfit". "NO ONE", GW said, is saying that M Estrada is unfit. Loud applause.

Dorgan is another one of the "hair impaired" Democrats.I've often thought Biden was brain-impaired because they placed the hair plugs too deeply into his swollen head.

"Poisoning the debate with baseless, accusations demeans the nomination process."
And that has stopped your criminal scumbag party when, Senator? F@#king hypocrites all. I sincerely hope they keep this kind of behavior up right into the 2004 election cycle. For that matter, I hope they keep bill and hil in charge. The best legacy bill can ever lay claim to is a historic change in the balance of power in DC. I think I could handle a super majority in 2004.

New official DNC tie
A man can never have too many ties. This fits them well on those moody days. (With sincerest apologies to family and fans of The Stooges)

I am praying for laryngitis for all Senate Democrats (except those who have committed to vote for Estrada) so that they will have to stop this nonsense! How must Mr. Estrada feel sitting patiently by with the dems treating him so outrageously. He has done NOTHING to merit this contemptuous behavior from those whose own lives COULD NOT bear up under the slightest inquiry!

More likely, the "virtual march" on Washington by the anti-american anti-war crowd jamming the phones.
