President Bush began his day by speaking to the leaders of Greece and Bulgaria regarding the situation in Iraq and the war on terror. From there, the President had a meeting with the National Economic Council to talk about the latest trends in the economy and to receive a status report on the economic plan that he has proposed to the Congress to help the economy to grow faster. Later in the day, Bush met with a group of Republican House and Senate leaders to discuss the upcoming congressional agenda. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

It doesn't have to be long; they just count the responses and tell Dubya.
But thanks for reminding me, we should all be emailing every day.
Be back after I do that.

Rather than join 'the hand wringers', let's stay focused on ACTION rather than ANGST:
ACTION ALERT II:
In addition to countering the left's 'cyber' attack tomorrow, I also recommend that you do the following:
1.) learn about/contribute to 'move forward' -- the radio group who is raising money to purchase air/radio time for Pro-America/Pro-Bush ads:
http://www.moveforward.org/index.php?c=contribute
2.) learn about/contribute to the 'billboard' group at
http://www.supportpresidentbush.net/
3.) attend a Pro-America Rally this weekend -- links to info concerning these rallies can be found on FreeRepublic's home page!
Texans: I hope everyone is planning to attend either the Houston or San Antonio rally on Saturday. [For more info on the San Antonio rally, visit the Glenn Beck website at
http://glennbeck.com
Ohioans: We need to attend the Pro-America rally in Cleveland!! Ohio, have you heard anything yet?!
Let's get moving -- we have many battles to win before November 2004!!!! [And, yes, as Rush so eloquently detailed today, WE ARE WINNING!]

My dear, in the world of broadcasters (or in this case, media w*****) moving from sports to hard news is really, really tough. Most of the time, no one takes you seriously after you've done sports. Maybe he'll be the exception instead of the rule....

Good for you for sending stuff to Rush. Back when Sheryl did her first t-shirt, I sent a TON of info to Sean Hanity. He used all of it!

Love the poster! Too funny!

Just remember that the media and HellonWeirds are the only ones who are part of the 3% club. As long as their idol isn't in power, they could care less!

Yes, that clip has to be one of the highlights of the year so far! I wonder how much of a 'rest' she'll be taking before her next appearance.

You can email him through whitehouse.gov. Quite a few of us did exactly that a couple of nights ago. If that isn' the exact address a search engine should bring it up in short order.

I think Lauren has been a bit nervous. She'll get better. She just needs to be seasoned.

They want her glory and power without the time, energy, and sacrifice involved. I think it is power envy

I know it is very rarely done. Fox might be the network that makes the exception.
Brian was, as far as I know, the only reporter to confront Clinton after 9/11. Clinton was walking the streets of Manhattan, hugging women and biting his lip, when Kilmeade walked up to him and said, "Brian Kilmeade, Fox News. Do you feel reponsible for these attacks?"
He also was very good interviewing the troops in Kuwait, although I grant that wasn't difficult for him, since it was a bit like a pre-game show.
At any rate, whether he stays in sports or not (and he may LIKE sports), he has done three excellent bits of actual journalism.

Do you or anybody know why Donahue was fired? Is it because because of poor ratings, or did he do something else? I am just thrilled about this. He was such a jerk when he first announced his show was coming on!!! He made me sick with his liberals don't have a voice on the airwaves speech. As if!!!!!!

Just a reminder, in case anyone is interested: Dennis Miller will be on Leno tonight.

Thanks a lot. I e-mailed him for the first time ever. I just wanted him to know how much I appreciate everything he does and how much I trust him and every decision he makes.
To: clevelandrocks
You'll receive a very nice e-mail back.

Thanks everybody. I just have been getting so upset lately. I am tired of the media only showing one side of the story all of the time. If people only knew how evil Saddam is, why can't they see that our President is only trying to protect us.

Ratings and advertising rates. He was getting killed in his slot and didn't get the numbers he needed to qualify for the advertising rates that were being charged. (as a friend would quote It's all 'bout the Benjamins!
