The pilot was just stating the type of heat he, the co-pilot and the nav were packing.
If this is legit I would have been laughing my head off during the anouncement. But then I'm used to see people walk around with machine guns.

In the real world, Fox just announced that pilots may now attend 48 hours of training, and then they will arm themselves with .40 cal automatics.
Does anyone know if they will be using low velocity bullets?
