You've visited their Web sites -- DrudgeReport.com; NewsMax.com; WorldNetDaily.com; FreeRepublic.com; FrontPageMagazine.com and many more. These are the Web sites of the New Underground. And this is the tale of the cyberjournalists who built them -- the brave men and women who bring you the news Big Media doesn't want you to know.
Learn how these modern-day Tom Paines and Ben Franklins mastered a new technology, the Internet; how they built a New Media from the ground floor; defied an outlaw White House; endured government repression; and exposed unspeakable treason at the pinnacle of power -- treason that led directly to the slaughter of 9-11.
Learn how these cyber-patriots continue defining the cutting edge of New Media in the age of broadband and the blogosphere.
Here is the inside story of the Web sites and cyberjournalists who helped change history, a tale of courage, sacrifice, ingenuity and patriotism -- one of the greatest untold stories in the annals of journalism.
Pre-sales of The New Underground: How Conservatives Conquered the Internet by Richard Poe are now available from Amazon.com.

Hey, I'm a member of your fame club too. :-)

The emphasis on "MY" was meant to differentiate between talking about me, and publishing one of the stories I have posted in FR.

We all knew, 20 years ago when we first got the memo from the leadership of the VRWC, that this would work exactly as it has....and I commend all of you for keeping this secret until our plan came to fruition.

I understand now.......I just went to Richard Poe's home page and also enjoyed reading his columns.....especially about that amazing evacuation of lower Manhatten by boats on 9-11.
I do know of a Fire Chief who was badly injured & was taken to a Staten Island hospital via a ferry which had become a floating emergency room. Such emergency care saved his life.

Hey, Richard, this sounds like the best thing I've read by a Poe, since The Cask of Amontillado.

Hackman or Connery....hmmm
I asked my wife, the one who knows me best in this world.
I posed the question: What actor should portray me?
She said: Karl Malden.
I said: Thanks a lot, but he is dead.
I said: How about Gene Hackman?
She said: I could see him playing you.
I said: How about Sean Connery?
She said: ----- (Convulsive, spasmodic, writhing, fetal ball position laughter for about 10 minutes.)
Hmm....

Remember when Montressor is taking Fortunato down the stairs, Fortunato asks him if he is a Mason- obviously meaning Freemason-Fortunato says yes and secretly brandishes how trowel. It's his little joke- he isn't a Freemason, but he will be doing some masonry shortly.
To: nickcarraway
LOL. "brick" masonry!
