Someone ought to tell those Indians to back off or we'll study their bones.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals' decision, made last week, prevents any study of the 9,300-year-old skeleton known as Kennewick Man,

The morons in the 9th U.S. Circuit Court strike again.

The Indians should have no claim on these remains unless and until it has been positively proved that these are the remains of their ancestors. At this moment, there is no such conclusive evidence.

The only hope for arriving at a definitive conclusion lies with a thorough scientific examination of the bones. This is an issue that should be decided by science, not politics and biased courts.

I was just thinking that the Indians could shoot themselves in the foot with this one in that there is a chance that there could be a legal declaration that these are not Indian remains thus blowing there claims out of the water. I then thought "Wonder which court this was? I bet I could guess" and lo and behold "The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals' decision"

Go figure.

I believe the scientists have stashed some DNA that they are studying. Just common sense. But they'll never be able to share the results with the world until this nonsense is resolved.
