"The A.N.S.W.E.R., my FRiends..."
(To be sung to Bob Dylan's "Blowin' In the Wind")

How many roads must a man walk down before you call him a man?
How many Dreams must each Tyrant kill before he's forced to step down?
How many lives must the Socialists kill, before RATS are forever banned?!!

The A.N.S.W.E.R, my FRiends, is Lib'ralism's DEAD!!!
The A.N.S.W.E.R. is fightin' 'gainst RATS' Spin!!

How many fears must the Networks create before RATS're squashed by the FRee?
How many years can RAT-sheeple persist that Mass-Murder's just peachy-keen?!!
How many times can RATS' Hearts trick their Heads, pretending Slick's blacker than me?!

The A.N.S.W.E.R., my FRiends, is helping FReep RATS' pigs,
The A.N.S.W.E.R. is blowin' out the Ditz's!!!!

How many times must Lib'rals be duped before they will see Slick LIES?
How many victims must one man have before the Rapist hears her cries?
How many deaths will it take 'till World knows that Central Authority is VILE?!!

The A.N.S.W.E.R., my FRiends, is Fightin' 'Gainst Left's Spin,
The A.N.S.W.E.R. is taking down Clinton/Soddim/Treason.(gettin' outta the UN?!)

"What sort of architecture is Stern doing in Charlottesville? Residential or commercial?"

I was just talking about the institutional work he's done for the University...he added onto the O-Hill Dining Facility--it's called sumthin' else now--which was strictly 60's state-dining facility chic and turned it into sumthin' that looks like it'd fit in right next to the Rotunda, with it's little cupolas and acceptably-oversized faux white trim on brick...it's where the womenfolk stop to powder their noses when we trek from our double-secret TailGate spot to EVERY UVA home football game...WahooWah!!

"Wow, impressing Philip Johnson is very impressive."

Heck, I was all fullUVA myself the next coupla years...'till I hit the RealWorld and all that...LOL!!

"A "Chippendale" top inversion might have been the better solution for AT&T. ;) I like the work of Tigerman's wife, Margaret McCurry."

See, these two statements and that word you used in yer last post, "mobius strip" will demonstrate just how outta the Loop I have allowed myself to become...I have ALMOST no clue how to respond without mimicking the pretentiousness of Architecture that can be soooo dreadfully obtuse and stifling (plus, I never heard of a "mobius strip", but I have thoroughly enjoyed our little walk thru memory lane.

BTW...where did you say you studied? You sound Ivy League.

"I'm gonna have to put down "Savage Nation"."

How can you possibly put it down???

I found a good passage in the book that reminds me of you, FBD. It seems that Savage is a Formerly Brainwashed Democrat, too. See Chapter 8, "Crimes of the Democrats", where I quote:

"...the subtle differences [between the Republicans and the Democrats] make it strongly worth considering the Republicans over the Democrats.

"Why do these small differences make all the difference?

"As a man who loves boating, I understand how a few degrees in a course change result in huge implications down the way. You see, while the change in course is very slight when you first, say, turn a few degrees to the right, as you follow the new course the arc of change gradually becomes larger and larger.

"...That is why the few degrees that separates the Democrats and the Republicans are so important...I have to go with the party that grants me more liberty. The evidence is in. The Democratic party, driven by liberalism, is an express train to tryanny."

On mature recollection, and having taken legal counsel, I think it's best I don't comment on this one! *LOL*

Landru has been found NOT GUILTY in the thong-wearin' case. But we find him GUILTY of inappropriate behavior with his barrister. Court stands adjourned!

Speakin' of Springsteen and his concert in Richmond, are you aware that the Boss almost moved to Richmond in the early 70's when he was a singer in the band, "Steel Mill"?? The whole story is in the current issue of Richmond Magazine.

This case is currently sub judice and therefore it is inappropriate to pass comment at this time! ;-)

I shall therefore renew my subscription to "Richmond Magazine"...you don't happen to have their website handy, do ya?!

Thanks in advance...The BOSS ROCKS...MUD

BTW...my best buddy up in NOVA in the mid-70s was Dominic C. from Harwood Place just off Keene Mill Road in Springfield, VA, and he was the dude who got me hooked on the Boss. (Matter of fact, he also was the biggest Le Corbusier fan I ever ran accross, Mia T!!) I've come to appreciate Dylan's brilliance as a songwriter over the years, but I still believe Springsteen can match Dylan's passion when the mood strikes, especially in concert!!

"The Boss Is Back in Town"

"Everybody's excited about Bruce Springsteen's first Richmond concert in more than 25 years, taking place this month at the Coliseum. But did you know he practically lived here in the early '70s and performed a legendary concert atop a parking deck at Seventh and Marshall?"

SHEEEEESH...I'm gonna haveta scalp tickets!! This I don't wanna miss...MUD
