Oh, my God - I could never come up with a definitive list. I like all 'o y'all!Everyone made me feel at home when I joined last year; on those few occasions when I needed help or an ear to listen to, y'all were there.
I'm glad to be here, and I love you all.

Does anyone know what happened to Common Tator? I always enjoyed his viewpoints and perspectives. He hasn't posted since Christmas, I hope that he is OK as his health had previously been an issue.

I know quite a few names from reading posts, especially the people who post on the Day in the Life thread.
I used to post more, and there were so few on way back then that we all knew each other.
I just don't have time to post that much now, but certainly enjoy reading Free Republic!

Man...all these people mentioned...some over and over again.
And not one mentions me.

Too damned many to name. So many over the past four years have made me think, made me laugh.......sometimes hysterically, made me angry, made me reconsider my own positions, made me act....................and I love all of y'all for it. :)

I still miss
Irma and wish that I knew what happened to her. I consider
rdf to be a friend although we don't correspond that much anymore. Meeting
YaYa123 and
Memphis Belle for "Freep the Veep" was fun. I still see YaYa occasionally on these threads. I think Memphis Belle has left.
Willie Green and I are sometimes on opposite ends of an issue, but I've generally enjoyed his threads and posts. He's also a fellow Nittany Lion.
Nita Nuprez is a really neat lady, and I've missed seeing her as often as in the past. As everyone else has said, there are many more that I can and should mention. These are just a few that came to mind.

Me, because everyone else is wrong. :)
Seriously, in no particular order, and off the top of my head: Registered, Publius, Phantom Lord, Lazamataz, oph, AlBundy... and on the other side, who could forget good ol' A+Bert? And what was the name of that fat puke who always tried to pull the white font trick? The guy who sued FR? Chore-boy or Escargot or something equally insipid?

I've enjoyed posts from AmericanInTokyo for all that good far eastern info. I have to say the most consistently interesting and intriguing posting style goes to Section9 (Chris). And Alamo-Girl is the all time nicest FReeper.

I never liked popularity contests in High School or College nor now but I can't resist wading in.
Strictly my arcane view:
Hardest working FReepers: JH2(the King for a reason), TLBSHOW, Pokey, Sabertooth, MHKing, Cultural Jihad, Registered
Smartest: Goetz_von_Berlichingen, GOP Capitalist, Kantian Burke, Ohioan
Bang_List pals: Travis, Squantos, Archy, Shooter 2.5, harpseal, sneakypete, joe brower..etc
I have always gotten on even with mad dogs like LLan_DDeussant/MortinSult/Who is George Salt?/Dutch Comfort or whatever his next moniker will be. Same for Illbay, Non_Sequiter, or any of the other Yankee posse on Southern threads...including The Walt.
Yep...I liked OPH too...????
Nopardons is my friend....very bright and well informed and tuff as nails.
Clive deserves a bump for all the Southern Africa stuff and Cinncinatus Wife for Latin American postings.
Rintense for her Dubya promotion and her honesty when she has had slight disagreements with him. I respect that.
TrueBlackMan for carrying our banner.
LBGA for the photo stuff.
Southack for his profile page...lol...is it back up yet?
MHGTN...for his relentless work to stop infanticide...I salute you.
StainlessBanner....You do it for Dixie and I appreciate it!
I'm sorry Sungirl got whacked...she was sweet to me even though she knew I was a "deer murderer".
Memphis Belle is the only FRepper I have never been able to at least reach some decorum with over disagreements. My first week here and I was warned as I dove in....Ottersnot...thanks for explaining what LOL and BTTT and ROTFLMAO and RKBA meant..lol
OK...nuff musing..I'm only a 2.5 year newbie and not a real hardcore member unless I'm on a roll(The Lott Affair)..it's a fine group here and obviously goes to show that Conservatism is a pretty broad brush.
The AMs and JR and Co. deserve kudos for all they do as well.
I should have run thru my FReepmail...I know I left some folks off....Wimpycat, Weikel, Bourbon.....I'm brain dead.

Lainie for the Sunday night Drudge thread (without whom I would not have found FR) and hole_in_one for starting it (and his great screen caps).
Also, lorrainer (kinda new) for some funny taglines (Iraq...I roll).
And just about everyone mentioned earlier in this thread.

Nobody has mentioned Joe Montana. I haven't seen him here for years, but I'll never forget the brilliant thread he initiated on the phoniness of Muhammed Ali---it really turned my head around!
To: TaRaRaBoomDeAyGoreLostToday!; Cultural Jihad; rmlew; Burkeman1; dennisw; Lady In Blue; glorygirl
Cultural Jihad - come and see how often you are mentioned on this thread.
rmlew for always being so calm and consistent.
Burkeman1, for all reasons, esp having the right screen name for a conservative.
Person I miss - glorygirl - does not seem to post anymore.
Pictures - dennisw for being so kind as to put pics of Sheikh Yassin, every time I ask. And Lady in Blue, for posting lovely pics - threads like little art galleries.
