Plus the nightclub fire. Maybe unrelated, maybe not.I really don't think that Al Qaeda figured out how to infiltrate an over-the-hill rock band to torch a third-rate roadhouse. But the number of industrial fires today is interesting - but, like the shark attack stories of a couple of summers ago, it might simply be a normal number of events that are suddenly getting media attention and therefore get noticed for a change.

Terrorism is worthless if you can't TELL that it's terrorism. IMO, these are accidents. 9-11 no one had to speculate about it. Not when the 2nd plane hit.

If I fasten my tinfoil hat on with duct tape, will it be more effective? No, but let's face it, we're way, way out there on the end of the probability curve.

As far as the nightclub is concerned, the pyros were straight up in a low-ceilinged room, STRAIGHT UP towards and licking that ceiling. End of story. The pyros were cause of fire.

chemical cyanide plant in kentucky yesterday...
another chemical plant in north carolina two weeks ago...
seems like our manufacturing infrastructure is under pin prick attacks eh?

If I fasten my tinfoil hat on with duct tape, will it be more effective? Only if you line it with plastic wrap. And hold your breath until the chemicals dissapate. Then you'll be fine...

Yes it is hard to believe that all of these are "coincidences"
If I fasten my tinfoil hat on with duct tape, will it be more effective? Good question. Maybe we should email it to Tom Ridge. LOL.

OMG....The wascally terrorists have now set fire to a recycling dump in San Diego!
Do they have no mercy????
Folks chill, refineries have accidents, cars crash, people are born and people die everyday......Life's messy....There is not a terrorist under every bed.....
Unless of course you have my children at your house.....I thought of dropping them in Iraq but that would be too cruel for even Saddam....

seems like our manufacturing infrastructure is under pin prick attacks eh?Remember the so-called "Summer of the Shark" a couple of years ago? Turns out the total number of shark attacks around the world that year was actually slightly below the average - but since the media was all over the story, it seemed like every beach had sharks lined up like shoppers at a deli counter. We'd really need to see how many industrial incidents like this are normal for a given day, and then average it out over a month to see if this is an aberration.
