Just a little break from the daily news and politics.
I have quite a few that I like and Im looking for more. Hit me back

The General by Buster Keaton. 100 years from now they will still be watching this movie in awe. The General should however only be an introduction to Keaton. His other comedy classics like Sherlock Jr. The Navigator Battling Butler etc. are its equal or better depending on your taste

Every Independence Day: I watch 1776
Every Halloween: Arsenic and Old Lace, with Cary Grant
Every Christmas: It's A Wonderful Life and While You Were Sleeping (The latter is not really a Christmas movie, but it has Christmas scenes in it and I just love it!)
Other favorites: GWTW, Wizard of Oz, That Thing You Do, Rear Window.
My offbeat favorite: The Trouble With Angels, with Hayley Mills and Rosalind Russell

That's the one! "Mr. Blandings" contains some truly hilarious scenes.<<<<<<
I loved that movie, will have to see if it can be purchased. Sometimes nothing will do but an oldie, when the movies were just plain entertaining and I don't have to worry if the grandson walks in. He is 5, and he watches "Our Gang/Little Rascals" when he comes over. I still laugh at those, too.

Wow. 106 posts before the best movie of all time gets a mention. I wonder how far I'll have to go before "II" gets a nod.
