Yes, it is apparently a series of documentaries on young women and alcohol abuse. Its really educational, from what I hear.I'm thinking of showing it to my daughter when she's 18 and telling her that's why drinking to excess is A Really Bad Idea :o)

I have a few first my favortie commercial is the KIA (car) where the girl starts out with her puppy in the backs seat and each scene shows a different "guy" phase ie. hippie, yuppie and finally its just her and the dog which now has the front seat and is grown. Cute
My fave Movies:
Romance "Like Water for Chocolate"
Black Theme "Car Wash"
Scary (new) "Signs"(funny too)
Comedy All the Leslie Nealson Natonal Lampoon movies and Steve Martin movies
Music/True Life "Selena"
Classics "The Birds" (stillhave nightmares) "The sound of Music"
Political "Primary Colors"
My son likes any comedy but no chick flicks.
I have a question for the guys my son is not someone who dislikes things a whole lot but he cannot STAND refuses to watch any movie wih Nicholas Cage.
Do you guys like or dislike Nicholas Cage?

I know what you mean - I've half-jokingly advocated that "Boogie Nights" be shown to high school sophomores as a motivator for them to not get into the porn business, as well.
Nothing like a concrete example motivates as well.

It is my opinion that you must read "Lord Of The Rings" in order to really enjoy the movies. The movies are so fast-paced that it is hard for the non-reader to keep up. Having read the books, I can concentrate on the scenery and dialogue without having to try to figure out where the plot is going. Also, the fact that the movies leave so much out from the books doesn't bother me because I can picture everything in my mind. Frankly, I don't know how non-readers can fully understand the movies without knowing about all the things that are left out.

A zillion years ago, I saw Robert Preston do "The Music Man" on Broadway. Very cool!

Yes, that's it, but the movie totally ruins it. Stupid, stupid, stupid, way overdone fight scenes, like Crouching Dragon or the Matrix without the intent to seem exaggerated. Idiot director was going for the "ultimate" "most memorable ever" "killer, dude" type fight scene(complete with dueling speed boats), but instead it is just nouveau pretentious schtick that completely parodies itself. And once seen, ever time that music is heard you'll remember that schlock and just want to roll your eyes. I wanna slap the director between the eyes with a 2x4.
And the worst part was the girl I was with LOVED the movie. Instant total incompatability, uggh, what a waste of a wonderful auburn red.
