Bush doesn't care about the protestors - he realizes that they represent a small, noisy, smell, irksome element present around the world, who will show up to protest any liberal cause. I really don't care much about them, either - and polls indicate that about sixty percent of Americans support going into Iraq. It isn't that we're silent, it's just that we have better things to do, like work...

The sheer numbers of people involved

Actually, there aren't that many people involved. The national media just doesn't report on anything else.

Stop watching the alphabet media. Do the math!

And all the BILLIONS we hand out the the Commie Bastards in aid reminds me of a worthless young peace-nik with a rich Gramaw who will pour the money out to him every time he whines and stomps his feet. What a sorry bunch of "friends" the U.S. has, huh? Like Turkey's extortion,"Now that your here we want more extortion money".

Voting for conservatives is great. Do you stand on an overpass and wave the flag and hold a sign that says support the troops right now?

The polls indicate that his approval rate fell 12 points since last week after a weekend of saturation coverage of "world-wide anti-war demonstrators". Some of his support is bandwagon jumping and you can hear them jumping right now. If this weekly trend continues, his support will decline to about 38% in two weeks.

They may be noisey in the streets but we are not even squeaking. Do you have a sign on your car, on the lawn or at work? Have you written a letter to the editor in support of the president?

The throngs of anti-American, anti-Bush protesters appear to be mostly young, and many probably either don't have jobs or have burger-flipping jobs or college classes that they can easily skip to enjoy a little road trip party protest.

On the conservative side, most of us have jobs and families that make it very difficult to suddenly take off and drive to Washington every time a march comes up.

It would be interesting to do a little survey at the next ANSWER protest, "Do you have a job?"

Five billion people, including 300 million Americans, have refused to march in protest against the Bush policies.

I just did this math. If 100% of the coverage is of the protesters then the illusion will become reality.

If one freeper or a group of freepers makes the news showing a solid stand against this lunatic fringe, then we have been better served than just turning of the "alphabet media"

Just did today, a good spanking to one of the Philly rags, and they almost always run my letters. It was more a mocking of their double standard - they were very supportive of the Kosovo intervention but are against this war.

You mean the poll of adults, as opposed to likely voters? One of those push polls designed to influence opinion as opposed to measure it?

The strong anti-Bush and anti-American sentiment world wide is no doubt a surprise to most of us.

A surprise only to a complete moron who doesn't know
spite and envy are the strongest and most common of human emotions.

Right now do you have a sign on your lawn, do you have a sign on your car? Just for giggles stop at an overpass and wave the flag for 5 minutes on the way home from work. Start a trend.
