Kewl...I would have pegged him for the other side.

I wish more of these people would give as forceful a presentation as Dennis Miller.

If anyone STILL chooses to see their movies, at least wait until video and RENT it. They make a lot less that way!

People were pretty much sick of hollywood before all this began...now hollywood is signing their own death warrants. More and more people are taking stands against these overpaid, overrated needy group of shameful people. I hope hollywood goes down the tubes and finally these people will have to do real work for a living. Imagine that! No more money for new noses, breasts, thighs, leggs, cheekbones, wrinkle removers, lips, tummy tucks and all the rest. They will hve to live like the normal person. Heaven forbid...I feel sorry for them. NOT!!

I'm not going to choose what I do or do not watch, listen to, or buy according to the political views of those involved in its creation.

Why not? If they feel like making a statement with which I disagree, then I can choose not to support them with my money. Seems quite reasonable (not that I'd insist you do it, of course).

We live in a democracy, and our right to protest is crucial to that.

Yup! They can protest what they want, and I can protest them. Nobody's suggesting they be suppressed, just that they not be supported.

Think about it....do you really only want entertainment from politically correct people?

I was tempted to say that those on the list are the politically correct types, but your question is still worth considering. If the politically correct are suppressed, then it's just as reasonable to be concerned that only the politically correct would not be suppressed.

None of that is relevant to the issue at hand. What I'd prefer is to be entertained by those who provide the entertainment I pay for, not those who use my money to undermine the country. If they'd stay silent on political issues, I'd be happy to see good movies regardless of their private political views. But as soon as they go public, their publicity becomes support for their message, and I won't contribute to that.

There's all the difference in the world between declining to support someone with my money, and actively working to suppress someone. All these lists provide is data that can help you decide whom you want to actively support with your money.

Of course, you can make whatever choice you want with your money - at least as long as those guys don't get their way.

Better yet, wait for it to come out on non-cable TV.

There are many old classic movies to rent or buy. There are also other intelligent channels to watch like History, Discovery, Travel, even the weather channel. These channels actually report and show facts about the shows they air. Not the manufactured garbage from the media.

Make your stand. Don't shut off your TV...use it for what YOU want to see. Make it work in your favor and learn from the real authors of history.

We refuse to watch anything just because it is on. There are books to read, conversations to be had, company to enjoy at dinner with friends and family...TV would not be missed if we did not have it. However, since we do, we direct that remote where WE want it instead of becoming sheeple.

Now, go turn on Fox news...John Gibson is on and he's grat...so is Neil Cavuto. :) Have a great day and don't forget to buy some Freedom Fries. :) God bless America.

"There are many names on this list which I haven't seen for a decade"

I was thinking the same thing. These people make me sick the way they think people really care what they have to say. Their arrogance is nauseating believing they hold water or credibility.

I can just see it………Someone is saying back home in Iowa, "Gosh, I really just don't know how I feel about the President or this war and gosh darn it, if Marsha Mason isn't one of my favorite actresses from the 1970's and I think I've plum decided I like her point of view and now I'm against the war".

Duh! Get over yourselves Hollywood. You’re just a bunch of rich, pig socialists believing no one in America has a right to be rich but your slimy selves.

I'm really glad to see this list. I've been keeping a small one every time I hear them on TV. I'm proud to say, most of these people have been weeded out since the election in 2000. I'll miss my James Bond, however. I swear, I'm keeping my word and I will NEVER, EVER, EVER willingly give these creeps another dime of my money or another minute of my time. Their gone.

If someone wants to stand up a la Alec Baldwin and loudly announce that they're an idiot, I say 'Go Ahead'. Personally, it helps me to separate the sheep from the goats. All are entitled to their opion, but those who use their celebrity status as a bully pulpit to advance their own personal agenda, are quick to earn my contempt. A celebrity status does not confer any more or less knowledge on a person. Barbara Striesand's opinion is no more or less valuable than Joe Six-Pack's.

Furthermore, I think that celebrities that go to great lengths to alienate their constituencies ultimately pay the price. Remember Julia Roberts' cutsie statement 'I found Republican in the dictionary. Right between repugnant and reptile'. Well, check out her last two movies since that remark. Bombs. Both of them. And supposedly, the 'Oceans 11' remake was pretty good. Tick-tock Julia. You're at 14:45 and counting.

Well, said, cubreporter. You are 100% correct, of course -- I was just going to extremes to make a funny.

Yeah, John and Neil on FNC have really been ripping on France in general and Chirac in particular lately. It's a hoot!

And Bill O'Reilly is doing a great job and not gloating over being proved so dramatically right about Sami al-Arian (or whatever his name is).

I love it when the good guys win.

I'm sure you'll have more to add to the list after all the upcoming award shows.
I would hope they'd keep their acceptance speeches to thanking people, but I have a feeling they will use this as a bash Bush festival.
