DIRT ex-POTUS is such a tarred figure, I can only assume this perrenial trial balloon gets floated just as a means of keeping his lecture fees up, and boosting Chelsea's fee income at her new "consulting" gig.
Now, if ThatWoman (D-NY) ever tires of being 1% of 1/2 of 1/3 of the government, SHE'D be a logical, if nauseating, choice for the "historic" role of "first woman" yadda yadda.

Please say this is a joke!! We have enough to worry about!

This is too scarey to think about. Maybe I should quit reading stuff on Free Republic. Ignorance is bliss.

I always thought that the UN Charter specifically precluded a US Citizen as Secretary General My Bad
I just read the UN Charter (Note to self: Take Shower), and there does not appear to be any provision that precludes Bubba from becoming King of the World.

First thing that popped into my mind.
And if Nostrodamus was right "Beware of the man in the blue turbine" I believe that is what a U.N. "Peacekeeper" wears isn't it?

The Tribune-Review also reports Russia has made it known it would not object and added that China is also a big fan of the former president.
Odds favor an American secretary general next time around because there has never been one from North America.
No kidding, I didn't know that China was a big fan of the X-POTUS. </faux shock and sarcasim off>
I'd prefer Charlton Heston, at least I could trust one person in the UN.

Clinton has already destroyed the democratic party. Now he is going to attempt to finish the job he started on the United States.
I think the democrats had better wise up or they will all be out of a job.

With Clinton as Secretary General, that building on the East River will positively levitate from the generation of hot air inside.

Just when you thought the UN could do nothing else to hurt it's own credibility...
Libya in charge of Human rights, Iraq in charge of disarmament, and now Clinton as (cough, sputter) secretary general. What's the deal,... did someone tell him it's a great way to get girls?

"Can you imagine him there and Hillary as president? I feel like I've been punched in the gut." One of them would have to give up their plan. The light at the end of the tunnel may be that this is where the Clinton's finally take the gloves off and turn on each other~~ it's the only way we'll be finished with both of them.
