Mama, just curious, but how did you feel when Gramma told you that you were adopted?

Could I be guessing that the Doser you speak of is from Maryland? IE: MJY1288 or Gramho12?

I shall remember that.

Uh-oh. I was replying in humor. I hope that wasn't offensive to you. Apologies if so...

I was rather young when she told me...but I do remember her hateful glare and snearing lips. She often threatened to sell me to the gypsies.

I shoulda stayed off the Mac today...sheesh...you'll be finding a note to you both on a totally unrelated thread, I meant for it to go here at the Finest...oops.

I thought about asking the moderator to move it, but I've already bothered them twice in 24 hours, so , I'll just let it go and chalk it up as yet another goof up by 'yours truly'.

My humble apologies for kicking over the traces as I sit here in a Nyquil-inspired dream state, watching the day drift away...)

Your poor little thing. And here I've been saying how Grammie is the kindest person one could meet. If they only knew.......

Oh, people quilt, they get their fabric from Hancocks and Wal-Mart, or Hobby Lobby. Hobby Lobby carries a few stencils, but their selection is not extensive. HOOPS are not the good quality ones you really need. Wal-Mart carries a few notions but no stencils. Hancocks carries the least, mostly cutters. There is 1 quilt shop, in a not so good neighborhood, it is where I had to go to buy a new hoop, I broke mine..boo hoo. They don't carry stencils, just hoops, a limited supply of notions and very expensive fabric.

You should open up a *real* quilt shop...the kind where folks would visit and purchase from miles around, Gail!

"I shoulda stayed off the Mac today...sheesh..."

Gee, jw - kinda worried 'bout ya eatin' all that Mac 'n Cheese, poor fella - - cholesterol okay?..:))

Didn't have a real problem with the pictures, actually, my XP 'Xtra Powerful,' ya know, even on dial up.

Finally online for the day and near the end of the thread, and need to go back to make replies with my tired three fingers!
Lots accomplished this day, with wheels again for my limo driver ( ...:)) - calls to line up x-ray pickup in Aiken tomorrow for appointment tomorrow with surgeon in Aiken - State Farm Personal Injury contact call, etc. WHEW!!

Trying to play normal here, managing to do 3 loads of laundry - getting 'gooder' slopping soup with my left hand - need a big bib!! LOL

Loved the two scenes, jw, bringing me back to the center of all things - - - thank you.
