Sorry guys, I got the wrong rally. This is one also at the Alamo this Saturday, not organized by Glenn Beck. It's to show support for the troops.

Pinged.
Petroni, I haven't heard anything from Gracey about a March 1 rally. Gracey, heads up.

Just so happens that my wife and I are coming up to San Antonio from Corpus on that weekend for a little getaway since grandma volunteered to take care of our 2 and 4 year old. Where is this rally going to be?

March 1st - 1PM - The Alamo Actually that SA Review page says a Rally is to be held on SATURDAY FEBRUARY 22 at 1pm, not March 1st. Two separate rallies? If so, I'm game for both. Might get daughter and future son-in-law out for the first one, as they are coming to San Antonio that day.

He may be conservative but I can't stand his demeanor and can't take him for more than 5 minutes Have a look in the mirror.

I thought he was great. He asked his protester-callers pointed questions that they could not answer, and made them sound like the tin-foil fools that they are. The funniest was the 17 year old girl with dual American-British citizenship and who said she hopes to be Prime Minister someday.
You could tell she was reading from a script and whenever he asked her a question, there was a moment of silence and a voice in the background(probably her anti-American mom or dad) and then her answer.
He actually said that he shouldn't of gotten paid today, his job as radio host was too easy.

Yes, I saw the SAreview page and linked to it, then realized there are 2 different rallies. Glenn beck is March 1st and I heard about the Feb. 22 this Saturday on the radio (there appears to be no specific sponsor, though SA Lightning has been promoting it on it's website and they called in to KTSA).

Good. See personal email on samr subject. Just want to look around our area a bit more before comitting to 7-9 hours on the road in addition to the time for the rally. It may be that I'll be there with you guys if nothing else comes along.

The worst thing to happen to "Talk Radio". What a pant load.

Details are still breaking, but it appears the station that carries the show in San Antonio is leading the effort. Do you happen to know if that's the case? If so, that's really cool.
WOAI (the station that carries Glenn Beck's program) might even have some information up on its website. I wonder where they're going to have the rally. Possibly Alamo Plaza or by the radio station's headquarters, don't you think? At any length, I'm going to have to plan ahead of time how to get there. I live in San Antonio but around the medical center area, so anything downtown is pretty far away from me. Ooh, my first rally....

Check Glenn Beck's website (linked at top of thread) or the WOAI website. Beck has been talking about this for a few days. Since I live in Houston, the websites are the place to get the latest information. Others and I will post updates on FR as available.
Should have a huge turnout, especially if groups from Austin, Dallas, Houston, and points in-between can attend.

Good point. Those coming in from Houston will probably need to commit a full day (or most of it) between the commute, rally, and at least one food stop. Might as well state that up front.
I can commit that kind of time on a Saturday, but how many others can is another question. The crowd that WOAI (the radio station) and Glenn Beck can draw would be a wonderful statement for our troops.

I can say yet if I can go but I will help pump it up. I assume that you meant (can't). I do that all the time too. For those that can go, it would be a wonderful statement; for those who can't, pumping and bumping it will be sufficient if it is the best you can do.
Any thoughts of trying to organize one in Houston?
