As usual, the Chronicles coverage of the "Huge Peaceful Crowd" that turned out to protest Americas impending war with Iraq (as well as pretty much everything else) left out a few salient details. One of them was any mention of the counter-protest which took place on the same day, and in the same location. I know, because I was one of the people who helped organize this counter-protest, along with fellow members of www.freerepublic.com, a conservative news forum and online community.

My latest on the Chron's continuing lack of coverage of our counter-protests. But what do you expect, from a leftist rag?

Not surprising from a newspaper that neglected to mention when it was Fleet Week and that the Blue Angels were going to be flying over the city...

Thanks! Great story too! I think it is fair to say that there is no liberal media in the Bay Area (SF Chronicle, Marin IJ, etc), there is only a Treasonous media.

Sometimes I think you're all too modest... Chronwatch is fertile Freepin grounds... how about we spread the word and bust some liberal humps. Beteen STL and Roger, we have an open opportunity, no?

But the Merc gave the Freepers some good pre-protest time on the front and back pages.....I for one was impressed! May be able to buy a SJMerc paper once in a while if they keep that up. I canned my subscription years ago due to extremely biased reporting. I've given up forever on the SF Chron.
Great job out there everyone!

Chronwatch is fertile Freepin grounds... how about we spread the word and bust some liberal humps. Please do! A few dedicated readers have been battling the libs pretty well lately, but more are always welcome. We started deleting some comments (insults, slurs, links to other articles, ect) and of course, the libs are now screaming "Censorship!"
It's like the Black bloc Anarchists accusing the SFPD of "police brutality" for responding to their illegal activities and violence. What a bunch of whiners!

Treasonous MediaI like that!

Agreed. There may be hope for the SJ Mercury after all!
