Beautifully said.....hit the center of the target.

Amen -- Socialist victory depends on making America feel guilty. Don't give in! All we have to do is to do what's right.

What facts was she disputing? The fact that he incorporated events into an essay style? Or did he state something inaccurate?

Good, someone finally noticed that Mr. Whittle has a Blog.
Apparently, Mr. Whittle believes that we went to Afghanistan so that the Afghan women (some of them doctors) have a better selection in apparel and their hubbies can watch Hindu dancers on television.
Is he right? My impression was that we went there to get Usama and his buddies. In fact, we asked the Taliban to please give us Usama and his buddies and we only went in after Mr. Omar refused to do so.

I love this guy! If he's not a FReeper, he sure needs to be. I think I'll email him and let him know about his growing 'fan club' on FR.

Are we sure that this guy isn't a FReeper?
I could find many of the things that he brings out in seperate threads on different subject right here on FR.
He DOES put them together quite convincingly though.
And if he isn't a FReeper, he SHOULD be.

Just goes to show what can happen to one's higher cognitive functions if too much time is spent in a downtown Amsterdam hashish bar.

War on Saddam will bring more war. Not peace or anything. Extremists will get more likely to plan terrorist attacks. The family of murderdered people will get more extreme.
I remember when Reagan was going after Kadafi
all lefties in the papers were hand wringing about how attacking him was going to make him a hero to all the arabs and they would rally to him and he would be able to unite the arabs as a leader because of hatred against the USA Etc Etc
Omar been a man of peace ever since them F111s almost fried his butt in his tent
Course all the left GURUS never admitted they were wrong as usual

It takes courage to advocate an unpleasant but necessary action. It takes none at all to come out strongly in favor of flowers, bunnies and kids playing in the sunshine. It shocks our opponents to think that we actually value these things too, that we want the same results of peace and freedom but have seen from hard experience that they cannot simply be WISHED into existence. . . . and the people who promote the fantasy of safety apart from courage and faith, have the nerve to accuse Republicans of demagogery. What's "demagougic" about telling people there is no free lunch? Telling the people that a tax cut on the rich benefits the poor is "demagogery"?
