THEY ALREADY HAVE NPR, CSPAN & CSPAN2; VIRTUALLY ALL the newspapers; all TV but Fox and part of that; plenty of magazines.

What more do they want?

Oh, I forgot [not really].

They want 110% CONTROL

1,000% TYRANNY.

They want it all.

And then to play terminator like a parlor game.

What scum.

What slugs**t

They just hd Sinton on the NPR channel that is piped inot my office. (disclaimer: at first I protested about having to listen to the tripe, but, it is so amusing that I now like the comic relief)...

He is SOOOO convinced that the American public is STARVED for the liberal point of view.. and that Al Franken will attract listeners away from Limbaugh and Savage because he will represent their underrrepresented viewpoint....He tried to explain away the Hightower failure as simply "programming" failures of the local stations and that the NEW paradigm will require that they have "control" over the local programming to insure that Al Franken (I can barely say that name without puking) has the optimal opportunity to "woo" (his words) disaffeted consertaives to the correct way of thinking....

Coming from the guy who called Rush "a big fat idiot."

I wonder what Frankin will say when he gets his butt kicked in the ratings by that "big, fat idiot"?

Most liberals today are so dysfunctional, they can't read nor can they listen to any discussions on the radio.

I think that you touched on the problem. Not enough pictures on AM radio to keep the attention of liberal listeners.

Just when I think life doesn't get any sweeter than it already is . . . the libbers do something even more stupid than their prior stunts. They just don't get it. The truth can't be distorted on radio.

No one's looking at Julia Roberts' shiny teeth, high cheekbones, and push-up bra-improved ti...breas...bosoms when she lies on the radio. So her filth is filtered properly and nary a word ends up in the truth bin. The "Sky is falling" just doesn't play well on radio.

After hearing about this all day, I think that the new station should make Clinton its lead emcee. After all, he is totally dysfunctional when it comes to shutting up. Let him speak, all day all night, until maybe even he gets sick of hearing his own voice. Any dj would only be quoting him or using his talking points anyway. Besides, it's all about Bill--his agenda, his legacy, his popularity (and sex life), keeping him in power (via Hillary), etc.--so be outright about it.

This station should be "All Bill, All the Time"!

The only thing they're going to compete against with this crap is their own 24-hour leftist drivel found on NPR, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, etc. Limbaugh and all the rest won't lose a single listener.

I wonder if they will even care about ratings. Maybe it will be like Michael Moore. No one pays to see his movies outside a few college students, aging hippies and film critics, but he keeps getting paid to make 'em because--oo--he's so scary "controversial."

Arlen Specter is a Republican left-wing liberal. He is an embarrassment to Pennsylvania.

From Scrappleface.com-

Leaked Memo Reveals Liberal Radio Network Plan

(2003-02-17) -- Nationwide, no liberal talk-radio show has ever succeeded, while numerous conservative hosts have built large audiences. Now, a group of wealthy Democrat donors has put $10 million behind a plan to start a liberal radio network built on a radical concept.

According to a leaked internal memo from Chicago venture capitalists Sheldon and Anita Drobny, their plan to break the liberal radio curse is as follows:

1. Get marginally-famous people to host -- comedians, "B-list" actors, defeated liberal politicians.
2. Get some "ideas" of our own. (Finance opinion polls to develop these.)
3. Find ways of describing our ideas that are not repugnant to freedom-loving people.
4. Try to sound more American. Play Star-Spangled Banner at start of show, or something.
5. If the above plan fails, make fun of how George Bush looks and talks.

"Phlegmocrats in Congress will attempt to springboard this failure into new legislation to put limitations on radio shows like Limbaugh's, in order to get "fairness" back in the media"

This is the one that scares me, because they have proven time and time again that they have no problem at all trampling the Constitution when it suits their purposes.

"Someone please explain to me how Geraldo, Gretta, Colmes and others on FOX are "conservative."

Details; details.

Yes, I have access, but only tonight. They decided we needed to stay somewhere else tomorrow night, even though it is farthur away from where we are working on Wednesday. Go figure. All hell has broken loose. I'll tell you about it later.

"In the above sentence do you mean Conservative to be synonymous with Republican? IE - "Republicans [in the year 2003] do not want to maintain a status quo..." ??"

In the case described, yes.

Conservatives (and Republicans) favor reducing taxes further (if not changing the tax structure altogether), reducing regulatory obstacles, further increasing economic freedom and individual liberty.

Do you think otherwise?

He's already had his butt kicked in *life* by that "big fat idiot". Franken is relatively successful, but compared to Rush, Al is collecting welfare.

Richard Bey was OK but he's sliding downhill fast.

Dick Bey's 10AM Saturday show has got to be the most annoying show on WABC, even more so than the Saturday night chronic pain infomercials and the "1-800-ASK-LESKO" ads. His innocuous comments are made worse by the fact that Bey actually "sings" his own theme songs based on a variety of show tunes.

As for Hannity, I never understood why so many people like this guy. He beats a dead horse into the ground with most of his "arguments" and is a lousy interviewer.

I hate to say this, but the only political talk show host I really like is Rush, unless he goes off on a Tiger Woods tangent. Michael Savage comes across as an angrier, conservative version of Randy Rhodes (arrogant leftist radio host from South Florida) and Bob Grant has slipped since he moved to Worst On Radio (WOR).

Actually they need simple cartoons to be able to follow simple concepts on the radio.

Between massive abortion, the NEA dumbing down the left wingers for decades in school and the glamorization of the drug lifestyles, the typical left wing voters are truly dysfunctional and mentally handicapped.

Remember how Gephardless used to talk to his voters and rat voters. He sounded like a first grade teacher. He was trained to talk down to them, so that they could grasp at what he was saying.
