Six months, TOPS!

Then they will blame the VRWC and Rush and say that the 'conspiracy' called 'en masse and stole control and hurt us and changed the issues and ...

You get the picture.

The FACT that dems have no articulable position (that they dare posit) and can't rebuke facts has nothing to do with their whining.

"I just had this tremendous feeling with great passion that we had to make sure we're heard and make sure having a dialogue in this country of ours."

Too funny. How can we HELP hearing them. Every time you turn on the television they're shrieking at you. And "dialogue" implies communication. Communication requires exchange of ideas. Their idea of dialogue is they tell you what they want you to believe and when you try to challenge them they just yell louder so that you can't be heard. I don't think that talk radio audiences are typically the kind of people who take kindly to being hollered at.

Rush and Ann Coulter nail it perfectly when they say that liberals never counter actual arguments with legitimate rebuttals because their arguments are weak and just can't stand up in the face of truth, so all they have is attack, hence the choice of a venue (parody) where attack is acceptable.

It will not be their own money. The leftist will come up with some way to try and force taxpayers to pay. They may even get NPR to give THEM money in order to seed the start.

Will this talk shows allow people to actually call in and disagree. We have a local show which does NOT allow people to call in and disagree. I can't listen for any length, it coincidentally is the same station that broadcasts sporting events I listen to so I end up catching a few minutes before preemption.

Let them try. The more their ideas see the light of day the more discredited they will be. The republican zones will increase in size.

It was a very big ratings tactic when AM radio was losing to FM in the 70's. The local station would give away free radios in supermarkets, high school football games, parades, etc.... WIP-610 in Philly gave away a few hundred thousand of them, the tuner permanantly set to 610AM. A very expensive way to grasp for market.

I guess everything is political with these clowns."

Judging from his comments as a guest last month on Phil Donahue's program on MSNBC, Mr. Franken would probably take a far different approach from that of Mr. Limbaugh. "I think the audience isn't there for a liberal Rush," he said. "Because I think liberals don't want to hear that kind of demagoguery."

Talk about a coffee-spewer! That's all liberals KNOW is demagoguery.

It was a TRAINWRECK!! NOT funny, way-stupid, and totally UN-entertaining...unless you like trainwrecks, which in this case, I savored the obvious or "just under the surface" pain and desperation on the faces of AL and George S.

And that, in a nutshell, is why this venture will fail from a commercial standpoint. How many ways can Al Franken say "Bush is stupid" before even the liberals think it's time to move on? And what will he move on to - jokes about Reagan, Alzheimers and Depends?

A liberal's idea of "entertainment" is that which attacks or demeans those who dare to disagree with them. Besides stringing together profanities and bodily function references, that's all they know, and it wears thin very quickly.

" Incidentally, while Sean Hannity was excellent, he's been going downhill lately. He's strident, shouting over his callers if they don't agree with him. There are too many commercials and cross promotion."

That constant promotion of his night show annoys me. But what irks me even more is the constant listing of what is coming next. Just get to it,--- for goodness sakes!!!! Get to the reason people tune in -- a chance to speak and a chance to listen to current news.

As soon as Sean starts with his self-stuff, I switch over to O'Reilly.

Rush was a creation of the unbalanced lamestream media. If they were balanced in the first place, Rush et. al. would not have found an audience. After all, libs always blame "evil" people and actions on society in general, not individuals. Anyway, I agree about media finally "coming out" of the biased closet. They should thank conservative media for "liberating" them to be their true selves.

Liberals have preferred opinons and perceptions of reality that they choose to protect and defend from all facts to the contrary. These are the liberals I have personal spoken with. One actually put her hands over her ears and made noises so she could not hear what I was saying. The term "open-minded liberal" is an oxy moron just as much as "jumbo shrimp".

"....we felt FINALLY someone can articulate the conservative views.."

If the libs hate talk radio, wait until the market eventually forces the creation of a conservative network of private schools and colleges. Everywhere I go, conservatives are complaining about the naked propaganda that passes for public education and college education in america today. Why are we paying to have our kids indoctrinated? The situation is as it was with the media just before talk radio boomed. Middle America turned towards it (and away from the mainstream media) en masse. Similarly, we will turn away from the sewers that are our education estabishment the moment a real alternative arises. Vouchers, or some form of private tuition tax break, will do for education what the demise of the fairness doctrine did for talk radio.

THEN wait to see how the liberals cry. While they believe that they have a right to control the media...they believe that they have a sacred promise from above to control our children's minds.
