Smith and Wesson is a traitor to 2nd Amendment lovers anyway.

>>"If you've got something that masquerades as a handgun, but has the firepower of a major weapon, you're all at risk," said Illinois State House Majority Leader Barbara Flynn Currie.<<

This woman obviously is suffering from blocked homicidal rage.

She needs help.

Why Rep. Danny Davis, it's for you and your friends, as are all firearms.
We have them just for you.

>>Christ on a crutch! Of course guns are made to kill! People, animals, T-72 tanks! Isn't that why governments and other predators want a monopoly on them?<<

Of course it is.

Can't do much "altering or abolishing" with bows & arrows.

How many gang bangers tot around a .44 Magnum? or a desert eagle? I havent heard of any.

Exactly. Not to mention the fact that the "homies" can't shoot for $h!t usually, even with their 9mm pistols or TEC-9's. What makes anyone think the homeboys can even afford those weapons? Take a look at the weaponry they routinely use. Not very expensive, generally.

Why don't you-all pass a law in Chicago that it is against the law to use a gun in a crime. You might also pass and enforce a law to enforce that law. Out here in the Wild West some of us Wild Hunters actually do like to hunt deer with big pistols, kinda like maybe some golfers like "ping clubs". Do you actually need ping clubs. Kinda over kill, is'nt it, also an awesome murder weapon. These handles and heads are really to strong and light, they look to me like they are made to kill people with. I know people who keep the clubs right by their beds, and carry them in their cars. We need to pass laws to keep these clubs out of the reach of children.
What a bunch of bull!#*??. Wake up America, this is UNcalled for

Check out S&W again. They have sacked all the old management that made the devil's deal with Klintoon. That is is the reason for all the new gun models and a break with their downward spiral in gun design. The failed Glock wannabe was the final straw. I think they are now owned by another company, but not sure of the name. Besides, guns don't make stupid political deals, people do.

Just for laughs, Taurus and Ruger ought to unveil prototype of their (ficitonal) .60 or .75 cal revolvers

I'm holding out for a .50 BMG revolver. No need to dink around with those little bitty lady guns.

Any gunsmiths out there that want to have some fun giving a press release anouncing the development of this weapon (remember the Black Rhino ammo hoax?)?

In Danny Davis' district, you can't own a gun and crime is sky high. But in downstate Illinois, people are armed to the teeth and crime is low. Think about it, doofus Davis.

Precisely. If it was really about safety they wouldn't be trying to ban them.

within days of introducing the Smith & Wesson 500 Magnum at an industry-wide trade show in Florida, an anti-gun Democrat promised to seek a nationwide ban on the product.

Couldn't happen to a nicer company.
Smith sold out their own customers years ago - I know many police officers who traded in their Smiths and went to Sig or Glock.
I'm torn - I almost hope this a-hole succeeds...

And don't forget the great products at birdman.org

Those 'home-boy' glock sights have already caused at least on city councilman to wet his pants.

You don't go out hunting deer with a revolver," Davis said

No, Thomkins PLC. (British) and Ed Schultz (CEO at the time) were Second Amendment impaired. S&W has been sold back to Americans who know which side their bread is buttered

"You don't go out hunting deer with a revolver," Davis said. "Those of us who live in big, urban centers have a different fear and a different take than some people who may live in different environments."

Let's send Mr. Davis out Griz hunting with one of his homie's .38 Specials and see how it works out for him.

As for it not being the wild west, perhaps the Reps. haven't been reading the Chicago police reports. Idiots!

"I think guns are made to kill people. That's my opinion."

Sure....just look at the millions of people who were shot by their governments in the past century.

This guy is an idiot who has no business being in office (except for the fact that his political supporters are probably a bunch of illiterate, welfare dependant, crack addicted parasites...
