Don't sell Franken short. Sure, he is no longer funny, but if he gives regular information about where to buy drugs and at better than market prices, he'll get a lot of the dem hard core folks.

It isn't that the popular broadcasters are conservative, it is that they present new light on a variety of subjects.

Whether you agree with Rush, for example, you'll come away with new insights. The ultra-left wing, commie, pinko liberals are not entertainers but propagandists. They do nothing but spout the party line, today's official talking points on EVERY issue. Franken would do the same because his commie masters would allow no deviation from the official barbra streisand. Franken would have to check with Dashole or Terry to see how the dems were obstructing/opposing something the good guys did/said and would not be able to express his own opinion.

Every dollar wasted on a liberal talk radio venture is one dollar not going to liberal politicians for campaign spending.

Who do I call to encourage them????

This does present a FReep opportunity of a sort. If it ever reaches the point where a radio network is mentioned we can all become huge Al Franken fans for a couple of days.

Better than that, all of the important time slots in all large and medium-sized markets are already taken with conservative shows.

What's the point if you can't broadcast your views into markets where they disagree? They're going to be preaching to the choir in San Francisco, and that's about it.

did you ever see the movie Frankenweenie? It's about an ugly dog that gets run over, then brought back to life with bolts in its neck.

They can call it the Salon Radio Network. It'll be every bit as successful as the Salon web site, except it will cost more to run.

It'll never get any listeners. Welfare offices don't allow radios in the lobby.

The liberals can't stand the idea that conservatives own talk radio. They want a monopoly on the airwaves to express their socialist agenda. Thing is, liberals don't listen to talk radio, so this will be a failure no doubt.

Yes, I love to see them squander money. It is just like the old Soviet Union.

Mike Malloy...he subbed in Detroit once and I've yet to hear such a loud mouth jerk. He was hanging up on ppeople, yelling, then cooing when a Detroit or Ann Arbor leftist called in to canoodle with him.

AL Franken was funny a loooong time ago, but he's turned arrogant and mean-spirited.

best investment I've ever made...a $5 portable radio...decent reception. I get about four AM channels and the 2 AA batteries last about 12 hours...I always find a good conservative show on the radio...listen at school, work, when I'm walking to and fro...I highly recommend the investment. Support our side folks...and when they come on, boycott the lefty shows.

What they will do is trash W and republicans by calling them offensive names and then take calls from irate real Americans, to whom they will then proceeed to be rude to and hang up on.

The rats will have to pay for it out if their own pockets

Remember what happened to "Politically Incorrect?", the advertisers just didn't have the stomach for anti-Americanism after 9-11

Libs don't listen to talk radio because it doesn't have any sudden emotional appeals...no images of drunks on the street when homeless figures are mentioned...none of the liberal pandering that goes on in the editing rooms...Talk radio is raq data and raw debate...ideas and facts...the listener must put them together to form their own opinions...Lefties simply can't do this.

I hope they start a liberal talk show and sink gazillions into it. When it tanks because no one wants to listen, maybe they'll finally stfu.
