If this doesn't scare you, nothing will. He must be stopped.

I have repeated this since 2001 here, this is what Clinton is waiting for. This is his goal.

England onboard for clinton...sad beyond words...The U.N. would have to change its rules for this to happen, but I think they just might do that. It is time to mobilize against this and use all of our resources to do so.

Oh how I wish President Bush was on a ping list....get the US out of the UN now before this happens. This is very evil stuff.

How? By whom? When?Right now, I don't know. All I know is we have to think about this. That's why I posted the article. I have been hearing these rumors for months and finally saw it in print this morning.

I think it's against UN rules for SG to be from a state that's a permanent member of the security council.
To: Wait4Truth
I'm not so sure I wouldn't welcome Klintoon as SG. If he can run the UN as effectively as he did our country, then it might just prove to be a wooden stake in the UNs heart. I might just welcome SG Klintoon to the UN. :-)
To: Wait4Truth
The UN would have to change its charter, as no member of the Security Council can lead the UN.
How delicious would it be for Negroponte to veto Clinton's candidacy, at the behest of the Bush administration.

Oh how I wish President Bush was on a ping list....I doubt that President Bush needs to be on a ping list regarding this issue. I'm sure he is well aware of it.

I have said that too for months and years to get out of the UN. Some strange reason the President thinks we need them. To hell with the UN they are all anti-Americans and a communist org!

Nothing new here.
Freepers have discussed his goal concerning the UN for years. Only the Peace Prize has been denied to him on the route to the UN....and this will not matter! Maybe he will get it through the UN. (Wonder what country he will compromise to get it? USA?)

The only way he would get that position is if it does not hurt Hillary, she is owed and he better not get in her way.
To: Wait4Truth
As of right now, WJC would have to either renounce his US citizenship or the US would have to withdraw from at least the SC , probably the UN. The SG cannot be chosen from a country with a permanent slot on the SC.

I've feared this for several years...and I've been party to several threads her at FR that contemplated this nightmare...but this is the first time I 've ever seen it in print out in the open. I think I'll go puke!

I thought the U.N. rules prohibit the election of a Secretary General who is a citizen of a permanent member of the Security Council.
