Condi responding to a NYT editorial Russert showed her that called for more inspectors and the US to give satellite photos showing locations: Condi responds that even Blix has admitted inspectors cannot disarm Iraq. Only Iraq can disarm Iraq. The UN Security Council is getting a history of how to react. From the entire period of the 90's the UN SC couldn't bring Iraq into compliance and it has to be an instrument of peace with teeth or it cannot be effective.

Condi said Saddam knew he could divide the UN Security Council

Especially since France has vested interests in Iraq. I can not wait for the day that we go in and take out Saddam. Then we should take those stacks of documents showing how France helped build up Saddams WMD, and present them before the UN.

Condi responding to worries Iraq will use WMD and terrorists will inrease their efforts to hit us if we go to Iraq: It did not take threats of force in Iraq to have the terrorists hit us on 9/11. Same with Bali, etc.

Got to love it. Condi saying national defense should not have started on 911. The president had to address problems that started before he took office.
