US and Britain will call on resolution to made definative decision on Iraq. If the UN does not comply with its own resolution, we will do what we have to do.
I take it Condi said this? If so, then the Frogs and the Hun are about to wake up and smell the saltpeter.

Chris

Mccain touched on N.Korea but did not bring up Clinton. Maybe he will on Face the Nation.

McCain was good, and I'm not a McCain lover. But he was very articulate and logical.

I'd like to hear McCain give an equally colorful bon mot about Clinton's irrelevancy.

They are out in THEIR HOME DISTRICTS, which was the point of RECESSING. Please try to keep up.Which was why it was a mistake to recess.
Having the Senate in session over the weekend would have compelled coverage of the filibuster today.

Condi up now.
Says that some members of UN have not read or does not understand the resolutions they enacted.

Condi speaks more clearly than any one else on this issue. She is diplomatic but strong in her views.

McCain said France reminds him of an aging actress of the 40's who is trying to dine out on her looks but doesn't have the face for it. OUCH!

Condi saying that Saddam is playing games. US will draft 2nd Resolution that "helps". Says the "President will not play into Saddam's hands, even if Security Council does...".

Condi said Saddam knew he could divide the UN Security Council, given enough time, and now the Blix report has given him that time. Saddam is evil but he ain't dumb, although anyone who thinks they can withstand the US military isn't particularly bright either.

...it was a mistake to recess.Frist had to recess since 2 Rep. Senators were unable to be there. Besides, it will be good for the Senators to hear their constituents' outrage at the treatment of Estrada's candidacy. I for one intend to call John Edwards and vent even though I know he will not change his stance. He IS NOT representing MY NC values of fair play.
To: section9
Condi is taking on the idiocy of the calls for more inspectors, more time. It's not a test of the inspectors. She is just great.

I have noticed mainstream news is not paying much attention to the fillibuster
But if it were Pubbies filibustering a Dem Hispanic judge, it would be wall-towall coverage. Dems know they can get away with this because with no coverage it's like committing a crime when the lights are out.
